Edit: Funny fact - If you look on Sarna.net, the Artic Cheetah Was built to replace the Mist Lynx, the Shadowcat was built to replace the Ice Ferret, the Cauldron Born was built to replace the Hellbringer, and the Executioner was built to replace the Gargoyle. So this pack is made to replace the previous clan pack....all very interesting.............

why do the clanners get all these new mechs but IS is missing 80% of their heavy mech chassis's wtf pgi.....get off the clan pogo stick already

Good Work in the latest patch, I really like the VOIP add on feature. Well done , I going to buy a HEAD Gear with headphone and mic just to comm with teammate. Thanks.

Any way, I have brought all your Mech package including the latest clan wave 3 . The only one I miss out is the clan wave 1 Golden series mech. At that time when you launch the offer , I could only save up enough money just in time to buy clan wave 1 Masakari set before it was over (only a few day remain). I live in south east Asia in a small island country call Singapore, it hard to earn and spend USD$500 just to buy the Masakari set and get only 1 golden mech. I know it is special, but it is impossible for me to come out such a large sum of money at that time. FYI $1SGD= $0.70 USD , I not a big earner, if you have family, you can understand why I cannot afford that sum of money, but I am a big fan of Mech Warrior since my younger day and I try to earn and save money to support my fav game as much as I can.

As I do not need another Masakari set ,therefore I do not wish to waste money on a Clan Golden set, just to get 1 golden mech and get another 24 duplicated mech again . I only wish you can allow people like us to be able to buy only 1 golden mech, if we have already got the Masakari set instead. Also maybe give us DEVOTED supporter who buy all your Mech series a special discount. Thanks.

1. Is it true we are getting an Oceanic Server ? (Please god say yes - the pings are getting stupid over here.)
2. If so will have a pass through to allow us to select a server to play on - US - Canadian - European ?
3. Any chance you will be building some escort games into the game styles ? (Happy to assist if required.)
4. Now the Clans have invaded cane we see some mixed drops ... clan and IS Mechs in same drop decks ?
After all IS did capture Mechs and reuse them - along with captured pilots.
5. Any chance the players can add some of their own art to their own Mechs ? Even out Unit Tags would be good.
(Approved by you guys first.)

And by the way - thanks for the new Mechlab - especially the filters.
Be nice to set some filters that could be remembered for Skills section as well.
Filter out any unowned Mechs etc ... Maybe even show the Skills of a selected Mech whilst in the Mechlab ?

Is there any chance you could revisit the maps where the is artificial vision impairment such as grain? Good example of this is the forest colony. It's a map where alot of people I know, tab out, turn their monitor gamma triple the normal via card drivers to see clearly. This makes one ugly experience, but allows such tactical advantage its worth it. Blocking player vision via grain or view distance limits (like heat & night vision mode) does not work with modern gfx card drivers and just turns out into ugly experience and "how could he shoot me I did not even see him" from players who do not understand this handy little move..

Not to mention, vision for shooter is really important part, trying to block the view with artificial means is something people really do not generally like.. If you are afraid of sniping becoming too big of a deal, give enough solid cover or deployable smokes, or thing of that nature to allow tactical movement, since at the moment grain and other filters are not working.

Thanks for your insights, you have indeed made some very good ideas.

However I like to comment on one issue. The aim to balance unit size towards 50-100 players. First I cannot see the reason as this only makes sense if the very large units have a negative effect on CW balance when for example two very large units join the same faction and reallly are able to push that faction forward simply because of their large numbers. However if that's right a simple head count is insufficient as indidiual player skill and frequency of play are very relevant. A large unit with lots of players may have limited influence only if the players seldom play and have limited skill.
