Figure I'll toss my intro in here... glad to see MW is back at it!

Introduced to MW with the tv series: first Mech I ever saw was a Bushwacker (Toy, lost it sadly) I think, also got into the books after I started playing MW3 and then 4.

Anyways, can't wait to get out on the battlefied again!

I'm Traejun DiSanctis (Shawn).

Callsign: Roman (Table Top days) or Curb-Stomp (MW3 & 4 days)

Got started with the BT boxed set in the late-80's and then the Pen and Paper MW RPG system. Moved on to the computer games thereafter.

Medium mech pilot primarily, though I do like faster/lighter heavies as well.

Can't wait to get back in the **** pit.

Had everyone used this thread for their introductions, it would be (as of 31 May 2012) 5,136 pages long. Welcome, B.L.A.D.E.S.

Name's Bleakheart. Been playing various incarnations of BT since '89. I'm looking forward to this version a great deal. Now, if they'll only get around the legal issues and give me my beloved Marauder.....

NeonKnight here, played off and on since around 1984-85. Love the game, love the concept.

Fond memories of playing Battletech (and Red Planet!) at Navy Pier in Chicago. I shall miss the Thor, Loki, Vulture and Madcat, as well the "crotch shot" mechanic (i.e., mechs' weak points were right between the legs). Love to see the reference to Tesla pods above.

I'd go by Aoi, but it appears that handle's taken, so I'll go by AoiEsq instead.

Didn't even know this game existed until yesterday. What a happy surprise...

Dovoid here, been playing since the 80's

I'm more of a freelancer than a merc. I'll do anything for the right price. but remember theres atleast 3 sides to any battle yours, theres, and mine.

I have so many different handles and none of them fitting for MWO. Don't know who i will be when MWO releases. I need a handle, otherwise i am nameless.

Hey there, I've been a fan of the Battletech universe for about a decade now. My first exposure to it was the K'NEX Mechwarrior kits of all things haha. Soon afterwards I purchased the Mechassault video game and my love for mechs was cemented. I even recetly started playing the tabletop game.

Just curious but does anyone know if there's a Merc Company for the Northwind Highlanders?

callsign Buggius
location Belgium
affiliation Merc (those who played mechcommander on starlancer may have heard from my old unit MD_batallion)

I've been a fan ever since i got MW2 on my computer. I generally run light mechs with the occasional exception when i'm feeling silly.
