I've been a member of the Black Widow Company for a few years now and have been highly impressed by its vets (both gaming and military) and I absolutely love these guys and girls as family. You should really consider joining us if you want to play this game with a great community!
I've got Snow Raven genetics (if you visit the BattleCorps, tell 'em I sent ya! My serial code is: SRV-019D) but if you ask my "twin", he'll tell you I was stolen out of a Steel Viper sibko (and I highly doubt that claim!). I do have a soft spot in my heart for both those silly Kuritans and House Liao.
I don't ph34r the JU-JU and I do love the nukes (but not as much as my best friend loves them). When it comes to Mech fighting, I'll either tag you with my Raven for my lancemates to eat you, be a pain in your rear arc with my Grasshopper, or simply curbstomp you with my Blood Kite. There's no real rhyme or reason as to why I love those particular three Mechs, but I do!
I love sharing the joy of "huge stompy robots" to anyone who's new; after all, we were all n00bs once! (I still totally am, especially when you consider the company I keep!) Ask me anything about the game; if I can't find the answer, I'll get my crack team of BattleTech Experts™ on it to help you!
In the end, you should just enjoy the Disco Elemental™ show, and never you mind the orbital bombardment I'm calling in...
See you in game!

Ha, I like that attitude. Still a nice call sign allows you to craft a custom persona. Hail to The Chief baby!
BTW, I came into the world of BT when I went to visit a old friend from school on a trip back to Texas and we played a 1 v 1 round with his CityTech boxset. Some time after that I bought the BattleTech Third Edition Boxset, but I never really found anyone to play it with, so through the years I have had to get my Mech fix by playing the various computer games starting with MW2.
I still have my old boxset by the way so I have the plastic models of all those good old unseen Mechs.

I'm a huge BT fan from SoCal and can't wait to revisit the stomping grounds of the Innersphere.

South African player who started with MW2:Merc and since then played a mix of other MW titles but not all of them (yet). I enjoy games that are challenging and require me to out-think my opponent as-well as outplay them along with good teamwork. I Mostly like piloting medium mech that are leaning to the more agile side my favourite being the Shadowcat (P).
Clan/IS: Clan, I like the "culture" more (meritocracy) + Elemental battle armour.
Successor states: Draconis combine but would probably ultimately end up as a merc.
Weapon of choice: PPC's if sinks allow it, if not gauss rifles.
Merc unit: Kell hounds.

It has taken me long enough to actually introduce myself. My appologies, but there really are a lot of threads to follow.
Name: Hunter McGee
Callsign: Ghozt

...Meh, even then I gotta give my overall preference to the IS 'mech designs.

A good friend once told me "My blood is not mine to give, it belongs to my brothers" and "If you are ever in a fair fight, your tactics suck"
I think both sentiments describe the TBC very well.

Came across this game when it was brought up in another gaming forum I frequent. Been itching for a new MW game since 4 and now it's an MMO so that's even better.
Looking forward to mount up and meet people on the field of honour!
The Coordinator will rule all!

I'll also vent my frustration at the time period they picked. Major miss, but i'll still be there.
