I'm a Mechwarrior veteran and and Battletech fan since I ordered that first Battledroids set out of a G.I. Joe comic back in 1984. Looking forward to seeing all of you on the battlefield!

I can't wait to start fighting and laughing and sharing a virtual beer retelling war stories on the forums with the greatest community in the world. I've been waist-deep in battletech love since Mechwarrior 3, as a trial, then a trial for MW4 on my dad's laptop, then Mechassault, and THEN I discovered the tabletop game.
My favorite mechs are the Sunder, Yeoman, and Summoner. So lucky me, one of those has a chance of making it in!

I was the cancer of several clans. I was the end of days for uncountable pilots. I also offered my services as a replacement pilot for others in the MW4VL. Man, those were the days....
And now, I am probably so covered in rust it would take a naval grade PPC to get things spotless.
I commonly ran an Ebon Jaguar (Cauldron-Born), Warhawk (Masakari), or Summoner (Thor) primarily, and occassionally a Novacat or Arctic Wolf.

So I'm DamoclesGuard a.k.a. Matt D.
I was born, raised, and still living in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
I've been playing the TT game since I was 13 and I'm 27 now. My first PC Mechwarrior experience was MW3, and if I could get it to run on my computer now I'd still be playing it.
I've avidly followed the novels, lore, 90's cartoon, and just about anything Battletech for as long as I can remember.
I'm currently running a Mechwarrior tabletop RPG, and when I'm not running one, I'm trying to get one going.
I'm a Davion Loyalist, I even have a tattoo of the Davion Knights of the Inner Sphere Medal on my shoulder.
My favorite era's are 3025 and the Fed.Com Civil war.
If you encounter me on the battlefield, you'll likely see me laughing maniacally while a pound away with my Autocannons. Dakka Dakka.

Rush is the name. Live in Lost Wages NV. Chef is what they put on my jacket but really I am a pencil pushing babysitter.
In 1995 I found myself in the world of multiplayer Battletech : Solaris on AoL pay per play. It was unique and different that I was sold from the very moment I logged on.
It was there I began a small gang of hooligans and we called ourselves the Scorpion Alliance. Eventually the guild grew and we moved to Gamestorm's version of mpbt and eventually found ourselves deep into the development stages of mpbt 3025. Lots of friends and connections were made during Gencon's and personal meet up's with those closely or internally involved with the game.
Black monday came and went and so did 3025. A decade later although up until this point, it just has never been the same.
Scorps however, have managed 15 years of online gaming together. From AvP-Planetside-UnReal Tourn-WoW-LOTRO-STo and other games, we are still here and very excited for what will come with MWO!
I know you will all get to know me and my Jenner very fast /grins
Till we meet on the Battlefield....Hail!

Looking to play with the Combine, even though everyone I will be bringing in will most likely end up Fed-Com.
Am I the only one feeling the urge to hop on the grid and throw crits?

I go by McCaffrey or Mac. Been with Battletech since the TT came out and then the PC games. I own just about all the books except for the Dark Age era. Looking forward to connecting with everyone over the next few years.

UK player here, been playing mechwarrior games since mechcommander/mw2 (mechcommander was my first online game, yay for Mplayer!). You could say that I have followed in the footsteps of any trueborn sibkin in terms of my upbringing (far too much time spent playing games online, but it was so worth it).
So here I sit, at 26 years old, Star Colonel of a clan that prides itself on A) having the best mechwarrior players around and Earning position through combat. I've got a reputation, it's deserved, I look forward to bringing it to MWO
