That is a C64.

Must've been a late model C64 then - the keyboard layout matches it, but the case is the same as the C128.

I had the Enhanced C128, C64 Original model (dark grey/beige color and not at deep with rounded corners and edges) and the Vic-20 (the predecessor of the C64).

That thing to the left is probably a modem. That thing to the right is a good ol' 5.15" floppy drive.

I have a ton of C64 and Atari Computer System stuff, but unfortunately none of my drives are in functioning order (or all my diskettes have been mysteriously wiped). No matter how far and wide I search I can't find a suitable replacement mech at a price I'm willing to pay.

Oh yeah, the Modem's - they did look like that back then, that might be the 1200 baud modem then?

{EDIT: From memory the 100 baud and 300 baud modems were narrower and taller [had an rounded incline from the cartridge insert port insert to the back - err the 300, the 100 had a slightly taller box past the cartridge port insert]}

This is the previous load screen before the one in the first pic. No where does it post the title as being "Cresent Hawks Inception"

Doesn't need to, Crescent Hawks Inception was the 1st Battletech game on computer.

The title screen says Battletech and normally a sequel would have the sequels name in the title screen, It might be Revenge as I don't recall the which title screen featured the Locust, I believe the other was a Wasp or Phoenix Hawk but thats from memory and may not even be Crescent Hawks.

Yep, http://www.mobygames...hawks-inception

And seems my memory is good, Wasp on Revenge's Cover [well almost - title screen featured 4 mechs according to Google & Sarna http://www.sarna.net/wiki/BattleTech:_The_Crescent_Hawks'_Revenge]:

I have the IBM versions saved somewhere and I think "Revenge" has the shadowhawk on it.

Inception had the Locust and infantry graphic. The Revenge game had a PH for the title.

I am pretty sure that is a 128... wrong case for a c64... I had one of the first c64's as a kid... had to wait months before they had a floppy drive available... datacette was the best I could do.did not get a 1200baud modem till I was in JrHS sometime... probably 87 or so.

That is my C64 along with a 128 that was given to me. Need to fire up the 128 to see if it works, wasn't taken care of as you can see.

wow I was just thinking about this game yesterday. I still have the original box and everything for this for the PC. I might have to load dosbox and fire it up. I'm not even sure if I ever actually beat it, now that I think about it.
