Reminds me of the old AOL Live days... I played that on a monochrome Compaq "laptop" that was the size of a briefcase...

I feel like I wasted $120 bucks now... these screen shots of the beta don't look as good as I was thinking.

Sorry you violated the NDA but thanks for giving us a look at the beta and your gaming rig... hopefully when the game is released it will be more polished

I LOVE(!) the C64, my very first computer! Started on the cartridge games, then moved up to the Tape decks, 720', Paperboy, Boulderdash! Thento the 5 1/4 floppies! Elite, Uridium, and Cresent Hawks Inception, never could figuer out how to finish the game though. great memories!

It may be archaic but I do have some fond memories of those first computer games.

Hmm, I have a copy of DOS 5.3 around here somewhere ^_^

Sure that's not 3.3, or 5.0.3? As I recall 5 never got out of the 5.0.x stage before 6 came out.

Oldskool is the best school XD
had myself a C64 back in the day and how i destroyed countless joysticks lol.
alas the memory died on me and the poor thing would never start up again and, that was loaded with tape cassettes
the time u had to spend on loading a game turn tape fast forward to (insert No here) stop continue loading repeat
some games took upto and beyond 2hr to load in lol

kids don't know how easy they have it with these confounded discs and digital media XD

Ah, the C64. Which let me hax Ultima by flipping the disk when on the overworld map, causing it to load weird data and stuff like infinitely-openable chests for tons of gold and goodies.

And Inception was the first game with...URBANMECH. Which you could steal from the Arena for your own forces!

(and we C64 players got Javelins and Spiders too)
