Yes. They took it anyways though, didn't they? I remember having to fight to take it back, at least.

My point is more that given the current balance of power between Kurita and Davion, it seems like it would be smarter to sue for peace when the planet still has some existing buffer than to insist on continuing a war Davion's been losing consistently for weeks now if people really care about the color of the dot that is planet Robinson.

I believe that was MS, which may have been the deciding factor for HK to close the 'experiment'. *shrug*

I can see why the Rangers have that position. According to Davion, Kurita has broken at least one CF already, and the first post after HK refused the nSL was "See you on Robinson".

I am sure Kurita sees things differently. I'm not saying who is right, just pointing out where they are coming from.

"According to Davion," Ha. Ha. Ha. The closest thing to a CF Kurita had with Davion (aside from the short-lived recent one that Davion ended themselves) is what we have with Steiner, a case of simply ignoring one another, to my understanding.

I'd like to point to this thread: http://mwomercs.com/...honest-question

I think Stealth Raptor is on the right path. He's also gaining a lot more progress there than I've seen so far here.

Also, more information on Davion's perspective of things there...

(I had deleted this, thinking I placed it into the wrong thread. Then looked and figured out it was in the right thread.)

There was an attempted discussion at a ceasefire a bit ago and Kurita laughed it off. Now that things are moving back toward a higher Davion population, cgb and csj plus potential hostile Marik border they want to freeze the is border and focus on the Clans, or at least that seems to be the common perception.

Keep at it. As much as we may want "some" Kuritains to "pay", we should still never give up on peace. The Clans certainly aren't going to.

We were starting to think about pursuing a ceasefire with Davion in order to focus on clans a couple weeks ago. It wasn't due to noticing an increase in Davion population, and Marik had not attacked us yet. Those two things happened, but the option was on the table already, it just hadn't been discussed by all the necessary parties.

Ha Ha Ha, what are more Davions when weighed against one samurai? Though they come in their thousands, we will slay them.

Davion clanners
Let their numbers block the sky
Samurai Stand Firm

Davion peasants
You face a true warrior
Fodder for his sword

And they say they care about not letting the clans reach Terra. What hippocrats. Frankly, I am disgusted with Marik right now. They seem to think they are the police force of the inner sphere, persecuting any who do not follow their strict doctrine.

dont think so. The nSL has the goal to defend the IS and fight the clans.
Sending mercs to davion to fight kurita would only help the clans reaching terra faster like a Marik/Kurita war.
So if the nSL has really this goals I dont expect both.

The nSL has nothing to it's name right now and Marik trying to screw us over using Seraphim as attack dogs against Kurita because Kurita refuses to be their attack dog against the clans and other nSL Members if they refuse their doctrine currently seems like a very likely event.

Not that SPHR would care though being the good sheep uh Mercs they are.

It sounds like teaching us a lesson is more important than holding back the Clans.
