What lesson? If all of your forces fighting us the clans will reach terra faster?
no need to teach this

Dont take this too serious what one guy said.
If the nSL decides to fight us and send mercs to davion for that this will only show that the nSL is a big fail.
And I still trust guys like stingr4y.

okay confirmed... davion will get the expected reinforcements and kurita will lose worlds every CF..

the funny part... it was a toss up between davion or marik... it just so happens that davion has the kurita attack lane...

if you look at that way it seems there a lot of peeps that just want to hit kurita... because.. kurita.

I think you got me wrong.
I am still confident that the IS can work together to fight the clans.

Good. Rolling davion and marik both whenever I log on will be fun no matter how many worlds we end up losing to a lack of players.

Luthien proves that clamz won't take terra... every pug and their mother wanted to get in on that action.. Clamz just wasted their time on the counter attacks..

I'm gonna laugh so hard when your attack lane turns into a complete disaster and we start eating up your house the way we've been eating into davion

Three houses have no clan border. These two statements are irreconcilable.

Before you go saying "but anybody can fight on the clan border" that **** is boring when it doesn't have an impact on your house's borders and more than one southern house player has confirmed that much.

Thing is, we southern houses can still help in several ways.
- We can defend. Not as much fun nor as effective as attacking the clans as well in our own faction name, but...
- We can shift allegiances to other factions to temporarily help.
- We southern houses can even agree to just fight amongst ourselves and leave the northern houses to concentrate on the clans. (Which still wouldn't be a bad idea for the game.)
- We can also even try to gain attack lanes by doing things similar to the Island, and then let that respective house reclaim those worlds once contact with a clan is established. (Once we have a world touching a clan, we don't need any of the other worlds. Just a small buffer up there so we don't have to reset the whole thing if the clans take one world back or something.)

Kurita is in a strange position as far as that last option goes. The attack system seems to always aim at bringing factions to take over the other faction's capital. Kurita's capital is behind enemy lines right now, which would lead attackers towards the clans. Kurita also shares a boarder with the southern houses. (Unlike FRR.) They also had a worm hole that jumped one southern house almost right to the clans front doorstep.

Attacking Steiner to gain those same attack lanes would not be as effective. They haven't had the clans dig as deep into their territory. Their capital is also firmly still in their factions main body, and is not near the fighting. They also seem to be capable of at least holding the clans mostly in check.

FRR is in the most desperate place for help. However, they only share boarders with two other northern houses. I do wonder what they would say if something similar to the Wormhole happened near them. Would they have let us (any southern house that had the wormhole) try and reach the clans the same we we proposed? And then just take those worlds back behind us if we had progress? Or would they also have shut down/refused the project because of their low planet count?

It may be silly, but it's not like they are alone in those beliefs. Kurita specifically asked Marik to not take Dieron since it was a 'home world' for one of their EU units.

Marik then took Dieron anyway.

Did you guys open your attack lane yet or are the puppet Davies actually taking too long to steamroll?

Don't forget, MS took Dieron away, who allied with Marik for one week.

I could still quote Roadbeer's response on that incident.

Oh, and just to make mention of it, MS moved back up to Ghostbear after they "expanded" the Island. And now look where Ghostbear is. Do you think it was a coincidence that they mess with the known treaty we had together, and then their "home faction" suddenly presses into Kurita knowing they probably wont see support from Marik anymore?

I congratulate them on their tactics. They are really good at what they seem to do, which is stir up trouble between the factions. (Which is part of the game, and actually can make the game really interesting.)

MS were not the only ones there, Marik loyalists were there too.

Not only that, the thing that truly soured relations was the surprise attack Marik conducted well after MS had left, MS' behavior only made Kurita want to close the wormwhole faster as it was already believed to be a failure and MS made it clear that it was also a liability.

On this part, I can not make comment, as I was not there and do not know.

However, I believe MS had muddled things enough that some units thought we were suppose to take those worlds to help better connect the Island with Marik Proper? I know we were confused why attacks where even going on there at the time, but then started to see the MS tags on the planets...

Who cares what those units thought? They were wrong and got beat and then doubled down on it and got beat again. "Oh but we didn't know! we were just so confused!" is a coward's defense. Get on TS and ask. or better yet, own up to the fact taht Marik attacked Kurita because Marik wanted to own more planets. All the craven, dishonest whining is really embarassing
