Man, that bites. If only there was some kind of central authority in house marik that could keep everyone focused on the greater good of the nation. While we respect the FWL's decisions towards government, there is a reason we have a Chancellor. Perhaps in the understanding that the League's organization can both generate powerful and simultaneously off-center actions, we can write this off as a bad experience, get the Kuritan worlds back under their control, and laugh about this all later over large amounts of alcohol, which is the only way any of this massive, epic failure of diplomacy will ever make any sense whatsoever.

I'll bring the plum wine, you bring the sake, someone can steal some ouzo and in the end, we can visit the bathroom and produce byproducts that'll work in most Combine ICE power plants as high-grade fuel. It'll be more fun in the long run, too.

Yes there was an "official" declaration of war drafted, that I didn't see the need for posting because what's the point?

I don't talk much in the forums, but after reading 400+ posts on this thread it seems to me like Marik pilots got caught in the act while attacking from a wormhole that was agreed upon by both houses to be used as a way to fight clans. When the super secret back stab didn't work out and you guys got your mouth filled in by Kuritan-issued boots, you resort to forum PVP and own up to said failure instead of queuing against us at this very moment? Cool story, bro.

I talked to Stingray ONCE who agreed that Kurita will be allowed to close the wormhole. I mentioned that the DCMS MIGHT be willing to allow a planet or two to let Marik connect to their island. We also discussed the potential for having organized skirmishes to make ghost capping wormhole planets more palatable. mp00 also PMd me about his resignation as a diplomat as peace talks with Marik seemed to become more pointless.

This attack against us was completely unwarranted. You've also claimed that we agreed to a 5 planet buffer which NOBODY from the DCMS council has any knowledge of.

It's nice that you are trying to blame this all on me but Marik attacked Kurita, in case you forgot..

Again, if you actually wanted us to fight the clans, the thing you are currently doing makes the least sense out of all of your possible options because committing enough people to our front that we actually have to pay attention means we have to divert our units from where they would normally be going (Davion, CSJ).
