@Prophetic -
Up 20 is a huge amount of work. It absolutely deserves respect. However you know it took a lot of mercs to help with that.
MS certainly had no little bit to do with Mariks bump in worlds.
Can you point to these mercs for us?
Here is some visual aid to help us all. Long standing mercs like Templars CH, and PHL don't really fit what your trying to get at.

The southern and western border of Kurita is almost exclusively house units. The Clan border (back when it was pushing north though now is a bit more southern) was almost exclusively merc units. Merc units who served with House Kurita have repeatedly complained of this - several. Not just one, but several.
You were very honest about the complete abandonment of the Clan front when you felt it just didn't matter. Neither FRR nor Steiner have ever done that. They just work harder, get better, bring in more people, or just throw themselves into the breach. You guys just walked away - more than once.
Everyone else in the IS said 'hey, why don't we come throw in behind you and kick Clanner ass' and your response was 'nah. We'll do it alone, you all suck'. Then proceeded to take a lot of Davion and Marik wormhole issues and let mercs wagon-wheel on your Clan border.
You're well spoken, considerate and good at making points. However a persons priorities are not what they SAY but what they DO. Everyone can see what Kurita DOES. What you say stops being relevant to that at a point.

Game politics are stupid. Inter-house politics are stupid. We're playing group queue with a map backdrop. It's fun to play at, don't get me wrong, but don't take it as anything other than stupid.
Friends though are real people. Changing your circle of friends over something that happened in inter-house politics in MW:O is like not hanging out with your friends because this one time one of them totally screwed you at Monopoly.
Just sayin'. If it got all personal I can respect that but game stuff is not important.

So the issue is where our Tags are? Well there are several HK unit tags under clan merc tags if you ever bothered to look. You just choose to look at the top tag and say hey that is the only thing that ever happened.
The merc units that complained just didn't fit in with HK. Davion can relate right? Since several reported to HK on how obsessed Davion was about whose Tags went where.
HK fights clans every night. Some just don't bother reading the great fight threads from clanners. Nothing more we can do about golden zerg propaganda.

I need to stop reading the forums lol, it just makes my blood boil. Luckily, the battles can speak for themselves. A lot of what gets said here from all sides isn't true and doesn't matter. It's like people think that the way to win CW has more to do with making thousands of propaganda posts than it does getting in-game and fighting (sadly, they're at least somewhat right; perception doesn't equal reality, but even incorrect perceptions can lead to people making decisions that influence reality).

We can see the queues though. When there's house units ghost dropping on Davion while they're losing tics on the Clan border, everyone can see that.
Plus how you treat people matters. People respect NS not because you're good at the game - you are. There are plenty of people who are good at the game but are total a**holes that get no respect. So everything that Kurita does is colored by how people feel treated by them. Telling people 'I'm going to insult you regularly, repeatedly and personally but you need to just take it because if it bothers you that's your problem, I'm not going to stop. Oh, and you should be my friend/ally'. That's not going to work.
Davion fights Clans every night. I know I pug a few matches on the FRR border and Steiner border every single night, so I keep up with Clanner tactics and who's playing where.
Doesn't make it my priority.
You've got some phenomenal merc units playing for Kurita. PHL and Templars are hardcore and do rockstar work. They punch way outside their weight class and are a consistent, effective and powerful presence on the Kurita borders. There are certainly others I haven't played against.
HK and its success is more than its house units. Way more than just its house units. It's got some great house units; but it's more than its house units.

And here I agree. I don't mind a good win, but don't go rubbing it in everyone's faces. Especially when the people you rub it into didn't have many of their mercs, because we decided to go off and either help DC against the Clans, or moved from there to FRR to help them with clans...
This whole thing has just gotten out of hand.
Respect was lost.
Trust was broken.
Honor diminished.
Goes for both sides. I think a major breakdown of communication (mixed in with some trollish "fun posts") are mostly to blame, as well as reactions that were rash, too quickly considered and acted upon.
1. Closing the wormhole I feel was too hastily done. It was a rash action.
Resulted in
2. Declaration of War on Kurita. Too hastily done, but I feel the reasons/feelings behind it are accurate.
One rash action results in another. Each validated by their own points of view. If people had taken time to consider things more, communicated more, and had more notification of intents (and if MS didn't stir things up), then much of this could have been avoided...

I appreciate it, but again, no. I don't want to be in a faction that has "leaders" who break promises and betrays allies because of thin skins. I refuse to be associated with that. We were better than that once, but now that time has passed.
So with a disappointed and heavy heart i'm leaving marik, even if it means I don't get to hang out with the few remaining people that used to make it awesome.

You cannot honor the dragon if you don't value its scales. The HK units like NS, NKVA and those not as present in this thread have done great work as our claws while the Mercs have reinforced our forces to form inpenetrable scales.
HK has been as sussesful as it is because of the joined effort of all units that have sworn their alleigance but it took Mercs to get the ball rolling and to fire up our fighting spirit, which I am very grateful for. It is a shame that NKVA continues to confuse its personal successes with the success of the House as a whole, at least when it comes to dimplomacy with the other Houses and Merc units.

It takes strong character to remain firmly behind your principles. Everyone can see the value in that.
Any house that you end up in will be stronger and hopefully appreciate/respect you more.
