The active Steiner units should really get in contact with me or the other members of the DCMS high council or our ambassadors - I honestly feel like these days we've got way more in common and could probably help each other's borders, and I can't imagine Davion does much for you these days besides have sentimental value as being part of your faction in the lore.

Outside of a little planet swapping early on, both our factions have had our hands full enough we haven't been able to turn our attention to each other. I think we're kind of in a perpetual state of non-aggression simply because of the Clans (and southern neighbors) knocking at our doors. Unfortunately for us, our southern neighbors are still very much engaged in CW and are happy to swipe at our distracted backside.

I think if anything else that might be something only Steiner and Kurita can really appreciate. I think we've knocked at each other's doors a few times when we have nothing better to do but its pretty hard to want to give guff to the other faction that has as many active borders as us - its all that same problem: there's never enough people to man all your borders, and far too many willing to sit comfortably outside of your faction and critique everything you haven't been doing but hardly ever willing to commit to fixing it.

The ones that are tend to be quieter ones or actual merc groups.

Oh tell us about it. My gosh these unruly southern houses can be such a bother. But not you Liao, you guys are cool.

Honestly, my second choice for factions was Kurita, but it's hard to look over my (irl) heritage.

Luckily, there's now 26 pages of posts here that prove exactly what kind of person you are, so that's nice.

Which is what everyone else is thinking about NKVA, right about now. You have no moral high ground here.

Uh we've been extremely upfront and brutally honest in every thread we post about what kind of people we are, not just here.

To clarify: We are big garbage losers who are also really good at robot game because of what big garbage losers we are, also mean bullies and dumb jerks.

As a member of "everyone else" thinking about how NKVA presents itself on the forums, I must say:

I'm a huge fan.

As for moral high ground, let's think for a moment what the supposed majority demographic for this game is (i.e. grown working professional adults). When I used to run wild on these forums, I always imagined some obese, sweaty middle management schlep in his early 40's, red faced and typing furiously when responding to a post of mine. Ah, memories.

my second choice was Clan Jade Falcon because they're evil and that's more fun in a multiplayer game. fortunately Kurita is evil and also an inner sphere side, and I prefer IS mech names.

Oh, you mean when we were on your TS and organized the loss?

Do you guys ever not twist the truth?

Yeah that's definitely what happened last night, organizing a loss and not throwing metric tons of **** at us for beating you after dropping 5 12mans on our world. At one point Marik were organizing losses to cooperate with closing the wormhole, like two weeks ago, but you yourself admitted you attempted to declare war on Kurita. Your short-term memory is appalling, go see a doctor or lay off the booze.

We've got the only high ground we need: superior skill.

I'm really curious which Marik leaders decided it would be a good idea to poke the dragon. Roadbeer claims that he isn't involved even though his posts clearly show he is but surely he wasn't able to rally Marik forces alone. Which other cowardly Marik leaders are hiding in the shadows after this failed attack? To those who voted against attacking House Kurita, we thank you for trying to remain true to our alliance.

Toxic?

Toxic is actually confusing real-life resentment and emotion with pointless and ultimately harmless forum PvP.

NKVA follows the classic pattern. No matter what you say, their response is:

"You're bad. You're mad. Ha Ha Ha."

That's toxic? Tell me Harathan, are you actually mad at scrolling text on a video game website, or pretend-mad?

At any rate, everyone should be pleased, there's PvP happening in a PvP game. After being eaten alive for the first couple of months of CW, HK are showing their skills. I've been part of two units now, both times privately commenting (IMHO) on how Kurita truly got the rawest deal in terms of positioning, population and general player skill. They turned that all around, and are flexing their muscle. You people should be THRILLED there's a viable enemy to face and prove your own abilities.

So Marik wants to declare war on the Dragon? Well, as someone who faces them fairly often (when PGI deigns us worthy of a Kurita attack lane anyway) all I have to say is: you had better come correct.

I will now resume my amused observation of this thread.
