Marik had other planets available to attack besides the Davion/Steiner ones so the algorithm probably prioritized them first.

The Marik/Kurita border had 1 planet left so it was probably given the highest priority possible.

Of my last ~30 drops against Kurita (almost all pugging) i've lost 6. NKVA will do alright but there Davion teams that beat them. I think numbers will bury you and I don't expect Marik to just fold after their failed bid.

Plus we're getting plenty of new folks, just busy training them. Eager to get back to 22AL 12mans. You'd be so proud; one of our new guys just spent like 10 hours pugging off hours so he can get another dragon, so he can just run dakka dragons back to back to back. Another spent hours before he even joined studying forum posts and smurfy before buying his first mech with cadet bonus, identified the benefits of the GH change on lasers and picked up the shad k with 3 erlls. My first mech was a cent with lbx. It's a wonder I stayed.

Anyway. No, I wouldn't expect Davion to try and save Kurita from another front. You had a good run though.

Yeah, never did that before. There has been some irritation over PGI playing with the selection process to facilitate certain situations. That world has been our attack lane for a while; the moment it becomes relevant it changes?

You should be glad that you don't speak for your House as the DCMS may have been considering giving Davion a break from losing 2-3 planets to us a day. There is a sizable element in the DCMS that is itching to fight clanners, dealing with Marik's treachery and converting Davion pugs into C-Bills are keeping us busy for the moment though.

Speak for Davion? I barely speak for myself.

Keeping that in mind my opinion is that daily beatings from Kurita is a good thing for Davion. At some point we will reach a threshold that makes it worth either investing the time and effort in getting better or in other cases coming back to cw to help out. Seems like we're about there. If your only hope of success is praying your neighbor quits hitting you, you don't have things fixed do you.

Kurita got to that point, Liao is as much to that point as they can be. FRR and Steiner have some grizzled badasses at this point.

You want me to be thankful for an offer of MERCY though? **** mercy. We're bulking up and back to lifting.

I'll still go where affs command points me. Just don't expect me to get skill excited at the idea.

House Liao has offered to mediate between the Purple and the Red, perhaps it would be a wiser idea to accept their offer rather than have the flamewars of this thread deciding matters.

This is merely a personal observation, The Stance of the FRR is that we are solely committed to fighting the Clans and their allies, any other fighting is a distraction from the war with the Clans.
We are very saddened that strife like this weakens all of the IS Houses while it only strengthens all of the Clans.
