After this hot fix for the center legs my mech will randomly OVER twist when doing large and/or fast twist motions. It will keep twisting sometimes WELL after I've actually stopped my mouse.

Didn't happen PRE hotfix.

Almost feels like the mech should if the arm lock was off and the head was catching up to the arms but I run with arm lock ON. No, I'm not pressing F or arm lock at all.

Tested on my Enforcers and Banshees.

Confirmed by another pilot in my comms.

Edit: Also torso movement randomly goes REALLY fast.
Edit: Confirmed by many pilots on comms now.

In my Ice Ferret - without arm lock enabled - if I press F I just keep spinning in place until I enable it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but after the hotfix, with arm lock off, I shouldn't be having any issues, right? With this mech, I have to use it.

Is it just me or what?

If you are good you know certain mechs and situations REQUIRE armlock on. so armlock is SITUATIONAL... thanks for coming out

I will add to it that when I use center legs (not center torso which appears to be fine, and I never use armlock) my mech goes into an infinite spin. I feel like Maverick in Top Gun: "I'm in a flat spin, heading out to...." not being able to play this game anymore.

Sometimes when you only have torso weapons (Banshees, etc.) it helps clean up the HUD to just lock them...

Confirmed.

Feels like the torso is twisting to where the arms would be pointing if armlock wasn't enabled.

The faster/further you twist the more it will overaccelerate/shoot.

While its ok when poking at long range it WILL get you killed when brawling or in faster/more nimble mechs moving around quickly.

This needs a hotfix asap or at least a reverse of the last hotfix.

In fact it feels like the movement with armlock now behaves like the one without armlock. So basicly you dont move the upper body with your mouse anymore but your crosshair (which doesnt recenter itself) and the body follows. The problem with that is, that with armlock on your visible crosshair stays centered so you have NO indicator how much it will move/overmove.

Basicly I see why this would be a problem with the urbanmech. Armlock on would mean you will have to lift your mouse a few times from the pad to move 360° a problem that doesnt occur without armlock (although the urban mech might not have the nessesary arm actuators to actualy use it...). However since many players learned to play with armlocks on on quite a few mechs/situations/builds... mouse/movement mechanics is one of the few first permanent mechanics a game should have and then keep!

And before someone says armlock is for noobs... there are advantages and disadvantages to both modes, same as throttle decay. You will find top players on both preferences only and many that change modes situational.

Can we please get a hotfix for the hotfix ? This bug is pretty much unbearable when in 'mechs with the mainweapons in the torso ...

Also can you please hotfix the person responsible for the hotfix ? Maybe with a quick gut-punch patch ... or a slap-to-the face update. It would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, extremely annoying.

Also, if you wanna try something funny, shut down your mech then power back up, as you're powering up move your mouse, then let go of your mouse ; Your torso will move on its own once your mech is back online.

Might try cutting mouse sensitivity. Dropped mine to about 50% and it's, mostly, playable.

I am having this issue as well after the hotfix last night, way over acceleration on the twist and when I stop it bounces off the back wall and back around. If I drop my mouse sensitivity from 4000 ~ 8000 down to 2000 it works better however it make the entire mech move much slower than my style.

Worked perfectly before hotfix so possibly rollback and redo?

Reporting the same issue. Better than the sluggish torso twist, but still not ideal.
