I have met many many many people IRL who seem to honestly believe that yo mamma jokes and similar are a form of polite greeting

Many of the people who seem to complain about moderation have a noticeable and distinct difference in style there.

Back on topic, PGI staffer just basically approved of Kurita's behaviour up in a CW thread. Apparently I was wrong in my first reply to this thread. PGI haven't washed their hands of it; they're actively encouraging it. Beggars belief, I know, but there you go.

Oh, I realise that, I'm also a sysadmin. I was being a bit facetious, sorry. It's cool, let's just say it was RP. Sorry, sorry, that was snark. The point I as badly making was a PGI staffer describing a thread that's basically full of NKVA crapposting to their hearts content as "great" felt a bit, I dunno... I can't think of the word. Not contradictory, Mike's opinions are his own. Not weird exactly, because the thread is "great", in so far as it's a great example of moderation failure in action. Although, to be fair, someone actually went thru it today and moderated it, so there's some progress there.

Avoiding battle (as well as taunting) is a tactic used to induce the enemy into making a mistake. Spawn camping means the enemy screwed up big time (i.e. made a mistake) and are now paying a heavy price because of it.

It is about time they got reigned in a little, they are causing a lot of disquiet and are reveling in it-without anything being done to them. It also goes from the forum to in game with them.
