Just got a nice annual raise today...
was going back and forth on if I should get elite or legendary this past month. This tipped it!
Anyone else get any good news that tipped their decision in favor of the legendary package?

Congrats man! And I got a decent paycheck today so just upgraded to Legendary from Elite... God hope the wife doesn't notice...

Is there really THAT much difference between the packages? Elite seems the better buy

If you're looking at it as a pure mathematic calculation, yes the Elite Package is probably more dollar efficient.
However... From my perspective...
Legendary has some advantages that are difficult to place a dollar value on.
For instance... I'm not entirely certain which class of Mech I am going to enjoy the most. By purchasing the Legendary package, I am certain to have a Founders Mech in the class I enjoy most. It also insures that if at some point down the road, I decide to switch to a different weight class Mech and learn a new role, I will have a Founders Mech to use no matter on which weight class I focus my efforts.
Also, a Legendary Founder will have 4 Mechs right out of the starting gate to use in Drop Ship Mode. Plus the 4 Mechs get their own Mech Bays. So, I will still be able to purchase 4 more Mechs of my choosing for a total of 8 Mechs.
There's more to the calculation then I think a lot of folks are considering.

i went legendary mostly to support the game. I will prob be using the jenner the most... or the hunchback (which historically i hated) IF i can tweak it into a recon/strike/raider. That being said.. i also bought my best friend the Elite for his birthday

I'm in the same boat as you, also calculate in the 25% C-Bills you get with the founders. I am so close to pulling the trigger on the legendary pack, just wish to see some more game play videos lol

If I could 'sell back' the Founder Mechs I'd probably go Legendary. But, honestly, I'm a scout. I'll get in an Atlas. So SLOW I'd die, even with all that armor.
