I'm going to stop bothering, people can find Twitter and read updates just fine on their own.

But seriously, I hope they find and fix it. Getting all those points is going to be hard work and I need all the time I can get.

I think the easiest way would be to check the probably rather few cases of high level titles/achievments (ie death star/ace most likely) that happened in this 1-2h and revert them. I wouldnt waste working time on removing that GXP from the achievments, cos they might be spent already and negative values in a DB can do BAD things sometimes... If someone earned it fair, this 1-2 cases can be delt with on individual support base (who wouldnt take a screenshot in such a case) and so can be teamkill exploiders...
IMHO thats a fair enough ballance between fairness and practicality

To get to the point, all those DC kills/EXP shouldn't count from all the previous games and should be reverted as well right???

Actually it's not that bad. I had a rather interesting trance party match where the Viridian Bog trees were flashing purple and red.
Actually rather enjoyable before I rebooted... no wait, the rebooting was enjoyable. That's right. Now I remember.

Maybe you should spray some compressed air on the flux capacitor inside your servers... just don't do it too hard or the magic smoke will escape from your integrated circuits.

I was having an issue like this. Turned out my gamepad was on my desk at a weird angle causing one of the analog sticks to be slightly off-center, thus moving my mech. Disable gamepad ftw.

I was seriously looking forward to some gaming tonight and I had from 18:30 to 21:30 (swedish time - so thats 9:30 to 12:30 PST) to do it (yeah it's sort of a wife coming home situation here as well). And now more than 2 of my 3 hours have passed already, and everything is still offline. What are you doing (except ruining my night)?
One and a half hours (and counting) to update the servers? Really?
Another thing I can't understand is why the public test servers must be down at the exact same time ...

The server fix requires that we temporarily disable VoIP functionality while we diagnose an issue with the TeamSpeak 3 SDK. We will provide more information on when VoIP functionality will be restored as soon as possible.
Services have been restored. Upon launching the client you will be required to install a small patch.

Crud - I didn't get in any matches with the VOIP enabled - so much for testing it over the weekend.

Just seeing as how the voip has been re-disabled I'm hoping you do more than 1 days worth of extension on the event. Matchmaking is terrible enough for solo pugs, but losing in-game comms essentially makes this a pre-made biased event again and everyone else is going to get rolled.
