Really? Maybe my browser shows an old version of the FAQ or I'm simply missunderstandig it.
But according to the Wave 3 FAQ
"Top-tier/Gladiator level Wave 3 purchases will qualify you for the 15 Year Anniversary Reward 'Mechs if you acquire that top-tier Collection before February 28th at 11:59:59 PM PST.....If you've already qualified for the 15 Year Anniversary Reward 'Mechs due to an existing top-tier purchase that fell within the eligible timeframe (December 16th 2014 until February 28th 2015), you will not receive duplicates."
Well I didn't qualify for that, I got those reward mechs through the original program MC bought etc and if we look at the FAQ of the 15 Year Anniversary Reward program
"If you already received one or more of the Reward ‘Mechs as a result of a Top Tier Package purchase made prior to December 16^th 2014 at 12:01 AM PST, the purchase of any additional Top Tier Packages between December 16^th 2014 at 12:01 AM PST and February 28th 2015 at 11:59:59 PM PST will make you eligible to receive an additional duplicate of your Reward ‘Mech(s)."
So as I understand it, there's no way to avoid getting dublicates of the reward/15 year mechs without loosing out on the preorder bonus variants from Wave.

Sorry about that error, but Wave 3 gifting is still being implemented. Updated the FAQ to reflect that. Hope to have some info on that very soon!

Quick question, do wave 2 and wave 3 have exactly the same colors? The camo and rest of the stuff is fine (as it's per mech), but the colors go across mechs. Could you alter the shades between wave 2 and wave 3? Or would it be possible for wave 2 owners to choose slightly different colors (for example a lighter or darker blue for clan GB blue)?

I really, really wanna buy the Shadow Cat pack before the 28th, but not seeing the concept art at least is making me have second & third thoughts.

Honestly, if you particularly want it, do it, then if you absolutely hate it, you can contact support to downgrade or even cancel it.

I appreciate you trying to help (I didn't even think I could cancel the purchase and get a refund). I might end up doing that...

At the same time, though, I can't help but think they'd sell a LOT more if they show all 4 concepts before the deadline. People will then throng to get that 4th variant for each mech.

It's great that they already posted the hardpoint specs, but lots of players also choose mechs based on visual aspect.
