Russ wants a solid New Player Experience, including documentation and training systems, ready before we go to steam this year.

It's an utter failure of the UI, in my opinion. Any MMO gives a better description of what equipment or abilities do.

Your assuming the people that review the game on Steam will know of Ghost Heat and what it is.

BAP is great. If I have streaks on a mech and that mech doesn't carry ECM then I never leave the dropship without it. I've hunted down tons of ECM Lights with BAP. So many ECM Light pilots were used to being invulnerable hit and run skirmishers for such a long time before BAP countered them. It's hilarious when they get smacked with a volley of SSRMs.

I mostly pilot Lights and Mediums and I find BAP good and fair.

Personally, I think these are at a good balance point. IS Streaks could use a boost (much quicker ROF, 2.5 per missile, something) but in general I think things are in a good spot.

• We have rock-paper-scissors in regards to modules, terrain, etc.
  
• We have enough people who think that streaks are easy mode and the same amount who think they are worthless

I'm happy with that.
