Hi guys!
I am really thankfull for you dropping in order to defend Lyran territory right now.
But: After losing 2 mechs in short time a Marik just asked in All-Chat how to Chainfire... we need all the Warriors we can get to hold the Clanfront... but in case you are new to MWO - plz finish the tutorial before fighting in CW.
It´s not really helpful otherwise.
In case the one who asked is reading this:
With the right STRG and the arrowbuttons you can group your weapons.
Pick one of your weapongroups and press the "Delete" Button - the weapongroup should start blinking now and is going to chainfire.
Ty for dropping and welcome to MWO.

Another good idea could be to try to reach out to more experienced players or units. I know of a lot of guys who would take their time to drop with new players to teach them the basics and some more advanced or important stuff. Also I think that most units welcome newcomers and try to teach them teamwork and gameplay mechanics. There are recruitment threats in the forums if anyone is interested. There are also "hiring halls" where players can post if they are searching for a unit.
Watching some "how to"-vids can also help beforehand. There are some good ones on youtube.
I know that the first experiences with MWO can be horrible, because there's a lot to learn. But don't get frustrated too soon. Reach out for help (preferably not in a match, certainly not in a Community Warfare match, because that's kinda like the "hardcore" mode) and I'm sure someone will take you under his wings and you will learn everything necessary to have success in MWO.
By the way, if you are speaking german and are searching for a unit affiliated with House Steiner check out www.tamar-jaeger.de. We are recruiting!
Good luck and good hunting! o7

I agree, graphics are awesome but the storyline sucks.
The grind is also totally horrendous- it takes years and lots of money to raise your skills. I can never find any quest givers, and no matter how many cats and dogs I kill, I never seem to level. Totally P2W too.
