I get it OP. This was all called before VOIP was implemented. We have seen it before in many other games and we will see it again. I got my first "DJ" on MWO last night (I have no desire to listen to your music). The mute is clumsy to use and distracting. I hate that the mute is not persistent across matches, but the good news is PGI is working on this stuff so hopefully it will get better.

In the meantime disable VOIP or try this...

I have yet to hear even one bit of useful information from VOIP in the 200 matches I have played since the rollout.

May I suggest that you start the ball rolling.

There was a few matches where VOIP was silent until I started calling out enemy movements. Before long people were calling out target mech damage "right torso crit on bravo!" or "Focus on Alpha".

Sometimes you just need to be proactive and get things started.
