Greetings MechWarriors,
We have recently been making some changes to the torso movement system to support the unique 360-degree rotation capability of the UrbanMech. Some of these changes made their way into our February 17th patch, and caused some extreme behavior with torso twisting and centering. The more severe of these issues were resolved in our subsequent hot-fixes, but additional work was required to resolve the remaining issues.
We will be rolling out the remaining fixes for the torso and leg centering issues with our patch on March 3rd. Once that fix is out, torso movement and 'Mech centering should behave as it did prior to the February 17th patch.
In the meantime, enabling Arm Lock through your in-game settings should eliminate the current issues with 'Mech centering.
Thank you for your patience! We will keep everyone updated with more information as needed.

Looking forward to the fixes. The shuddering issue is very bothersome.

Interesting failures depending on the mech. Hitting "F" to auto-rotate the legs to match the torso on my TBT-7M will make the whole mech whip around faster than I can make it go. Trying to figure out how to exploit that before the bug fix!

Just FYI, you don't get the issue in 3rd person view.

While you're so much looking into the arm lock code, take a look also why under 3D Vision it is broken and see if you can fit it for next patch also... this with other 3D Vision fixes I've heard that will make it into next patch are very welcome after 8 months!

even with arm lock, this is bugged for me. The game is pretty much unplayable at the moment. Utterly frustrating. I keep finding myself walking backwards for no reason.

Yep, it works fine if you are in 3rd person view.
I had the issue on my Adders, and Enforcers. (Enforcers were fine until I Elited them.)
Was fun freaking people out behind me. Press "F", and Bam! Ya, I'm lookin at you.
I got used to it, except every once in a while when I would press F by accident.
It'll be good to have that fixed.
PS: I still think it would be better if pressing F made the legs twist to where your torso was pointing when F was pressed, instead of turning until it meets up with the torso's center.
I'd like to set the legs to turn to a direction, and then be able to twist the torso to wherever I want while the legs are turning to that set direction.

Still having torso twist issues here. Pressing "C" to center torso to legs fixes it but if you move your reticule just a little it starts shaking left and right again.
Makes it damn hard to aim you know?
