.../reading and thinking/... Why noone see real threat? Why all ignores clans who have rushed into kurita space and cant be stopped on ther way to Earth? What the reason to call urself "superwarrior" when you cant actualy stop clanners?.. Those politicians so bisy with ther own problems so they ignore real life... Eh.. better i go back to cocpit - those caucus are so boring and pointless... Why our officers cant do visit it itself with no forcing us, warriors, to be here?... /end of thoughts/...

Here's another hyperbole scenario to illustrate the point here: Marik borrows a leaf blower from Kurita, uses it to blow leaves all over the place. Eventually they start letting other random strangers piss in the wind and use the leaf blower too. Kurita says 'enough is enough' and takes back the leaf blower that belonged to them in the first place. Then Marik says that's not fair! You can't do that! And cries that Kurita now owes them for this. According to them, Kurita should have done the 'proper thing' and dropped down on hands and knees, begging for the return of the leafblower, and because they failed to do this they now claim forever more that Kurita are disrespectful.

I don't actually know what's going on right now but you do realize that, without a border with them, Marik can't actually attack the Clans. That was kind of the whole point of the Wormhole project which you guys shut down: opening up another Clan front so that we could attack and siphon off some of their defenders.

So, uh, how are we supposed to attack Clans? Maybe you guys should have thought that one through a bit better.

Defend the borders. It's for the "good of Terra" right? the nSL is a joke and you want to hide behind a closed Wormhole to siphon planets from Stiener, Davion, and Kurita.

what they meant is that marik is currently invading our planet altair with 36+ organiced regular loyalist troops in a serious invasion attempt.
in other words: marik opend war on kurita right now.

they sold the space vikings and there own nsl idear or maybe a rough groupe of hardliners took over to destroy what marik worked for the whole last month.
any way, it wont be pretty , for anyone but the clan invasion corridor.

Defend the inner sphere against the clans? Stop the clan invasion? Queue up on defense? Instructions too difficult, attacked Kurita instead.

The Wormhole project was a complete mess in its closing. There was miscommunication on both sides as to what was going on or going to happen. Things happened to quickly and decisions made in haste.

I, for starters have heard that it was -MS- that had attacked/expanded the wormhole under the guise of a Marik unit. I have also heard that it was a Marik house unit that did this. The planets that I saw at the time showed -MS- tags on them, but that doesn't mean that house units didn't get confused when they saw the the planet light up with attacks and jumped in without orders.

This has lead to the accusation of a sneak attack on the dracs from the wormhole by Marik...

Then the Dracs where going to lean out the wormhole by taking all the worlds labeled -MS- (once again they are mentioned) and then leave it be. Marik was trying to help by dropping units there to throw the match and get those planets back to the Draconis Combine as quick as possible (so you wouldn't have to wait for turret drops). The wormhole was going to be left open in the intent to stick to the original plan of connecting the wormhole to Marik so the algorithm would take it north towards the Drac's capitol and smack into Clan Smoke Jaguar. After it hits the clans, and a few buffer worlds were taken, then the Draconis Combine would have those worlds back to them with no fuss while Marik fought a clan. This may have also caused confusion and had some Marik units actually drop to defend those planets.

This then lead to the Draconis Combine thinking we were defending against them.

Then the Draconis Combine decided to close the wormhole entirely and didn't tell Marik, who only gave a token resistance at first then tried to really defend only when they were down to the last few worlds in a disorganized mess, due to lack of orders from HQ, who where getting a lack of communication from Draconis Combine HQ.

This has now led to the Draconis Combine thinking that Marik is weak and that they can handle them (and I guess the other three fronts they have otherwise they would lose the war...). Which has also led to the bitter feelings that Marik has towards the Draconis Combine, for many of them see that closing of the wormhole as a sneak attack do to, once again, lack of communication from the Draconis Combine. (note: this is a lack of communication in general, not just the Draconis Combine)

In closing, it just seems that people need to act slower in retaliation and communicate more before acting. It would also help if people from both sides would stop "trolling" the other, and then dragging insults from a few members of a faction in the forums into the game (thus punishing the whole faction for less then 5 people's posting in the forums).

(The truth no one seems to see, is that it was -MS- that stirred this pot up and set it a boil. The same -MS- that is Ghost Bear primary. The same -MS- that is trying to distract more resources from the Draconis Combine towards Marik and Davion, so that they can expand Ghost Bear quicker.)

its a sad thing and makes me sick and tired that even the "HQ" "high command" "leader" what ever, have not the ability to talk in teamspeak for 10min bevor acting.
also that the people that "speak for a house" run wild in this forum (for god sakes make an alt chr. if you wona b***h) instead of maintaining a polite voice if people cant do this they should think about leaving the position.
