I was just in a game where almost the entire team just rush in and died with in the first five minutes of the game.... there were two mech left alive ... both jenners. Both the mechs/players were doing what they were supposed to be doing.... hitting and running.... well the dead players ...... as I like to call them the "rushing dummies" started telling the enemys where the jenners were on the map because according to them... "a waste of time" I'm sorry but if your dumb enough to die with in the first 5 minutes of a game then you can wait for the other players to play their game....

Once players are dead or die in the game they shouldn't be allowed to communicate with the other team..... that is the only solution I can think of to stop it.

Whats your opinion.

Report them. If the Jenners were still running around and fighting, then the teammates giving away their position were breaking the code of conduct.

Yep.

If they think it's "a waste of time" to let the others finish the match they can always quit the match and drop with another 'mech.

Really strange that some people would do that. I mean you can DC from an active match without any penalties anyway, so why waiting and ruining the match for others?

They want their mechs freed up, as there are certain exploitative behaviours you can do under the current weekend event.

Screenshot and report them to support@mwomercs.com

Don't let anyone tell you how to play.

It's really simple: jerks ruin it like everything. Most of us are used to someone running around and hiding being a moron who is trying to preserve his KDR, so we assume that's what happening. The majority of people I've seen doing this are in fact just shut down somewhere running out the timer because they're jerks.

To play Devil's advocate; some people own few mechs or have only a few in a playable state. Any delay for them to get into a new match, so they can play again, is frustrating.

With that said; F'm! They can drop in a trial mech while those that didn't die finish their game.

As others have said, screenshot, report, move on. Don't even respond to them in game, you've got better things to do with your time. Like trying to take a couple of the red team mechs down.

I rembemr playing Counter Strike, which already had this feature.
Actually, any Online-Shooter I have ever played had this feature.

It is well established and effective.
Hence we are not getting it in MWO.
Never.
Ever.

On the subject:
Report them, best with a Screenshot, as anyone already said.

And ask those players why they are doing that.
There seems to be the very common misconception that you will only get EXP and Cash if you stay in the game until the end.

Pretty sure it didn't.
In fact, I think it had all talk enabled by default.

Every time I see this kind of behavior, I record the match and report.

Just screenshot then report em.
Then berate them for being poor mechwarriors with only 1 mech.
Always good for a timely chuckle or two.
