Small tip: Perfect Community Manager should share our love of the Urbanmech

Posted Image

Urbanmech is love and life of this community, everyone who denies that is a scoundrel and the traitor! :D

P.S. Paul may say different, but we know he secretly loves him too.

Have you heard anything about using match score for the challenges again? The game play always suffers when the requirements include a kill. Even with a high match score requirement, the general nature of match scores prevents gaming the system and altering game play.

Hi.

Now go and play the game.

If you aim to communicate with the players you need to know what they are talking about.
Otherwise you might end up as just a well paid scapegoat.

T-shirts, Mugs, Leather Jackets ...... elementals .... and so on?

Would happily consider a kickstarter for a neurohelmet.

I would totally buy a set of coffee mugs!

Welcome Tina! Good to have you here!

"Haha it's silly that people related this community more to the children's virtual world experience than the SD Gundam one."- hahaha... you say this now...

Hi Tina,

My main concern to point out is that there are a handful of people in MWO who dominate the forums and twitter with high volume posting(thus having an unfair presence with some of the devs). Usually it is a lot of harping on the same stuff over and over along a party line. They do not represent the consensus.

Also, rather than going through the motions and osmotically picking up the game I suggest tagging along and seeing how the game is played within all it's subcultures. There are a lot of suggestions flying around, most of it is noise and some of it is valid.

Tina,

Nice to have you onboard. I am more known as Surn, the guy who wrote the first massive, multiplayer planetary league automation for the MechWarrior Registry (www.mechreg.org). I have been programming for the last 30 years, and spent about 10 years of my free time developing for this community. I am not a Battletech lore expert, but I love this community and franchise. I admined a league for about 10years with help from players. If there is any way that I can be of assistance, let me know...you will find me leveling mechs or on teamspeak or here.

I still have servers, db of thousands of players, code bases, map assets, and the list goes on...
