But some never give up, shame we are hanging out here longer than many loyalists....

Real mercing is great for RP, just slightly disappointed that you didn't negotiate for a bunch of small gift packages to spread amongst the troops. That would be some real contract negotiation. Work for X length of time, Urbies will be delivered as compensation.

That would be real money, and that's against the ToS of MWO. It would also give an unfair advantage to factions with many RL rich people in. Pandoras box, man.

Yea, but when real money transactions come into play then I'm sure there is legal issues that can arise, so it was better to just avoid those situations.

C-Bills can be purchased with real money. Welcome to the grey area, I suppose.

it would be better if they limited the number of merc units a faction could hire. The current idea that factions have unlimited coffers and can hire 323525234 merc units makes the game unbalance and it makes permanent units feel like we get left out cause we can't move around like the merc units can

That is the beauty of it.

As more Mercenaries and more potential Employers enter the "Mercenary Marketplace (http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__4244844)" MARKET DYNAMICS will become more effectual in-game.

Proven world-tagging Mercenary Corps Units WILL commander much higher "Premium Payments and larger Bonus Clauses" while new or poorly-reviewed Mercenary Corps Units will be lucky to get ANYTHING more than PGI-remuneration for individual CW matches.

THIS is #RightAndProper as a Merc's Reputation is a #GoldStandard by which they live and earn! or subsist on "The PGI-dole."

Oh man, this sounds like a terrible mechanic. Who's carrying that kind of c-bills around?

For this to become more common (and to make sense) then Loyalists would need higher c-bill earnings to make it truly worth looking into.

As it stands now it's merely one more reason why mercs are the more attractive option, generally speaking, than loyalists.

EXCELLENT!

Please understand, as a "Proof of Concept" I used outrageously high C-bill payments to entice the first three such cutting-edge Mercenary Corps Units to CSJ. Each was high profile CW/COMP-wise and boasted high numbers of currently active CW and/or COMP gamers.

I highly advise the "Half Up front / Half Upon Satisfactory Completion" payment model, AND by all means please use incentive and bonus clauses... our last Battle for Tukayyid BENEFITTED enormously because 228 was adamant that no one would tag Tukayyid but 228, so as to earn the 50m C-bill Bonus for tagging Tukayyid, Luthien or Terra.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO "LET" CONTRACTS, STRUCTURE THEM TO ENTICE "FUTURE ACHIEVEMENT" (I.e. Tagging Worlds.)

Many Mercenaries WANT to work for a highest bidder and WANT to have continuous Bonus Clauses to consider and strive for,.. just remember please to "Cap" Bonus Clauses at an appropriate upper level of you may find the Mercenary Corps Unit unexpectedly impacts your own Bottom Line! (for example my 5m per world tagged/capped out at 50m)

Good luck and good contracting!
And please return with word of your efforts... until PGI gives us a MERCENARY MARKETPLACE (http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__4244844) it is up to us to normalize prices and standard contract option sets.

ty in advance.
