Dear Mariks,

more and more Steiners notice your constant attacks on our territory by Marik forces - even after foundation of the nSL.

This constant threat is a burden on the morale and trust in the nSL of quite a few of us - while we fight the clans our territory is being eaten by fellow nSL memberstates.

MGA supported by some PUGs for days has poked our southern border forcing us to pull 1-2 12man of the clanborder. Because you guys send capable Warriors those 12man have to be good as well.

Just before the last ceasefire a mixed group of 12DG, Tamar Jäger and SROT had to fight against MGA and a few supporters. Part of the group was Roadbeer - one of your leaders, if I am not mistaken.

Your guys told us you plan to form a defensive Ring around Terra - we should stop resisting and fight the clans. We see your acts as a pretence to gain territory at our cost - to take this loss of our territory would be bad for our morale and is bad for our relation towards the nSL. Steiner is fighting the clans in true faith, help us if you want, you are welcome... but stop stabbing us in the back.

Those Warriors - yours and ours would be better used to fight the clan right where they stand now.If you want to fight the Clanmenace drop in defense of our planets or send mercenaries to take the fight to them BEFORE they can even reach Terra.

Do you even know how the algorithm works?

It's not going to move towards Terra if there is no action to move it off of Summer.
Summer has been on deck for days because we haven't touched it. It doesn't just move all by itself.

If Marik players are so desperate to fight the clans as they say, why don't they all just change factions to a northern house, instead of spending months trying to "tunnel" to clan space?

ill bet that like some of our groups they are permanent contract which is very expensive to get out of. plus some just want to stay marik.

what REALLY needs to happen is for a simple way to get the southern houses involved. the number one issue that IS has is that we have major houses that are a large part of the player base out of the way with no direct line to fight he clans other then defending. the only problem is im not sure how they could code it in game. maybe if there is a circumstance where a clan planet is lost and a unit would get its tags on it normally but wouldnt because it is a faction that isnt directly on that border, maybe they get the space around it so they have a front up there? something like that needs to happen or there will be endless squabbling

Some sort of logistics mechanics as STealth mentioned to allow southern houses north would help this immensely. Even say granting a planet via treaty or whatever. Then the trolling by Road Beer and NKVA might be more friendly rather than antagonistic.

I'd still be down for an arranged fight with Mariks before BETA is over with. Something fun and friendly with defined objectives (so we all know when to stop).

Lol. Anyone who still thinks the algorithm is some kind of mathematical system that automates attack targets, needs to lay off the space bacon. Algorithm = Russ's index finger

Worm hole failed because PGI didnt want it to happen. Mariks path through Steiner to the clans wont happen ethier because PGI wont allow it

But dont worry Steiner, even when it fails Marik has 0 intent to give you back your planets

You people do realize that this is a beta of CW and it will be reset so all of this whining is useless. When they reset CW the map will be reset. At that point you can complain but right now it is useless.

Because as far as I can see you tried for quite some time gobbling up dozens of Steinerplanets - the algorithm vs. Steiner is jumping back and forth... this might only be Beta, but you are laying foundations, earn trust, for the Final version right here, right now.

I don´t whine - I try to talk reason. Learn the difference.
Marik is gaining a bad reputation of saying one thing and doing another.
If you want the nSL to work you should consider the interests of your partners.

I remember bringing up my doubts about Marik's hopes of trying to exploit the system and got shot down with a 'you don't understand how it works like we do' post from Roadbeer too. Sure enough, as he and other Marik geniuses predicted, after taking what they knew would be only a few worlds south they were able to get the attack lane to finally head north again toward the clans. Hahahaha no really it was a bunch of bull. "It doesn't move by itself" Sounds legit to me. Perfectly flawless logical argument towards allowing Marik to experimentally take 20+ more of your worlds and see what happens. If you resist them, you're just trying to doom Terra to the clans, so take the moral high ground and let them do it.

I honestly think non-aggression pacts are anathema in this game...

let everybody fight everybody...

why limit the amount of fights we get in an already limited game...
