After playing a few games with all sorts of netcode I found the best compromise is either hybrid (BF3) or client-side hit-detection, despite the obvious drawback of hacking/aim-boting. for those that reside outside the country where the server is located, lag can make it impossible to hit the enemy reliably with ping of 200ms or so even if you lead the target to compensate. it has spoiled a lot of FPS that wouldve been good had the netcode took into account that players can be from all over the globe. WoT even though I believe the hit detection is server side is still plenty playable given the slow pace nature of the game. is that the case with MWO? also will anyone be able to set up a server?

Will this game be playable for anyone outside of US and EU (ping related)

its not in the FAQ and its obvious there will be servers in NA. just want to know if players can set up there own servers and instead get a rtfm response which doesnt even source its info from anywhere.

There will be regional servers as soon as possible.
And anyone who buys a founders pack (I say them because it has been confirmed for them) will get a one time only relocation option to a local server. This move will take all of their possessions/money/xp etc with them.
