I have a suggestion for PGI, in the wake of them extending the pre-order bonus window for Clan Invasion Wave 3 from the original deadline of 28 February to 17 March.

That's good news for those who didn't buy before the 28th. Now they have an additional opportunity to get the pre-order bonuses, which is great... no qualms from me.

However, extending the deadline after it expired left some of us who did buy before the 28th feeling slightly miffed. We scrambled to get the money in time, and we bought Mechs sight unseen before the published deadline. Ie. we were ''good customers''.

I think it would be reasonable for PGI to give something extra to those of us who were good customers, and bought Mechs sight unseen before the 28th.

For example, PGI could give us one Mech Module per tier of pack bought. (I suggest Shock Absorbance, Target Info Gathering, Seismic and Radar Deprivation, reflecting the most useful modules for each ascending weight class of Mech.)

That way, everyone would be a winner and feel good about the post-deadline extension. And of course, it would cost PGI nothing extra, earn them some goodwill, and avoid any "boy who cried wolf" perceptions next time they promote rewards with a deadline.

Decent idea that is pretty much win-win (PGI shows they care about the folks who open their wallets fast, loses little of value, nothing of future sales, and makes early-adopters/fast-talking spouses happy).

Wouldn't mind a small something. I know I would have waited to have all the art before ordering if the deadline had not been Feb 28th, but I ordered anyway out of good faith and it would make me feel more valued to get a trinket of recognition of blind support. Kinda like how Star Citizen just keeps piling on the rewards I got for backing so early despite still not even having a playable ship of my own.

I bought it, and I'm not butthurt in the slightest that they extended it. It was far too quick a sale for most people.

We ASKED them to extend the deadline.
They Did. Signifying that they are listening to our feedback.
Now that they did, we're actually complaining and asking for more freebies? huh?

I didn't buy these mechs sight unseen- I knew exactly what variants and what loadouts they had. I knew that Arctic Cheetah and Ebon Jaguar are going to be beastly, because of that. I also know Shadow Cat comes with ECM, giving that mech value. It's where my $90 bucks went.

I'm happy they extended it, because now others, who may not have had a great month last month, have a chance at it.
