Thanks

Yeah I'm hoping, honestly I'd rather it move your head inside the cockpit so you can see around etc. But i guess it could be used to swivle the torso.

+1 For this one.

I use also TrackIR and I would love to see it implemented in MWO. This would give the player an even more "intense" experience:)

I'd like to hear an official response to this either way. I have the Track IR 5, and would LOVE for this to be supported, just for free look in the cockpit.

Freetrack support would be great, why pay out hundreds of dollers for TrackIR when you can build your own for less than $10.

would it even be possible to use TrackIR or FreeTrackNoIR for torso swiveling?

how big is the difference between TrackIR and FreeTrackNoIR when it comes to responsiveness?

thanks for any answers in advance :P

I remember reading somewhere you can customise you cockpit, so having TrackIR would be awesome! I can imagine it would be so immersive to be able to actually look at readouts/dials without them being on the HUD. Please do this!!!

Edit: Doh, should actually read the thread properly first. Glad to see its in!

This will be really neat, I'm tempted to get a TrackIR setup now. In one of the videos I was watching the dev stated that one of the immersion factors was that all those video screens laying around the cockpit all were functioning screens that actually gave you useful data... TrackIR would be a great way to use them =)

Have you used both ( Freetrack and TrackIR5 )?
BTW it will take more than $10 to do a decent build.
