

Are all mech designs overtly masculine?

Do you think that is because it's a "guy" thing to be the warrior or because mech design is controlled by "guys" ?
Would love your thoughts on this.

Oh, and as an example you could take the well-known Locust. And no, I do not think that central laser gunshaft on some models is necessarily a phallic symbol.

On top of that, have you ever seen a woman completely geard up in military equipment? Especially with dirt/paint in their face you can harldy tell the difference unless she's wearing push-ups or has enormous cleavage... xD
