[Edit: There's already a mute button, not sure what more can be done. For the record, I have a policy of never reading any replies because a post like this is only really intended for the person at PGI who may/may not read them.]

Yeah, it's finally happening.

The extremely rude, cursing, utterly immature gamers are beginning to feel comfortable enough to abuse their teammates using the VOIP functionality.

It would be great if there was a really quick way to mute individual players permanently, and if there was some sort of system for flagging them for such behaviour.

...

Are you one of them ? Just asking ... would be hilarious if someone showed up here with a video of you cussing out players with VoIP in-game.

There is. Click the speaker icon on the scoreboard next to that player OR turn off VoIP completely.

There is that, too. Report them to support.

Well for my part one time ( for maybe 200 games or more ) i heard someone ( an american ) talking/obivous trolling about " this is jihad, this is jihad " that's all...
Nobody in this match care about that and this guy stop really fast after he died but i am sure praslek is someone very sensitive one case is enough for him to open a topic kind of " PLZ HELP ME ITS OUTRAGEOUS I HEARD ONE TROLL ONE TIME"

[correct me if something has changed since its implementation] Muting a player only mutes that player for that match, if you meet that player again in another drop, you'll have to mute them again ...if you feel you need to.

Disabling VOIP for the actions of one player, or a few here and there, kinda defeats the purpose.

In about 200 matches since they implemented VOIP, I haven't heard anything close to Trolling. Granted, that may mean that I was the troll. =)

I've gone all Master Sergeant on people, but usually in a curse-word free method. That and when I do, I have the high ground in the argument.

As predicted.

I was only surprised with how long a honeymoon we would get.

Yesterday night was the first time I've met toxic people on VOIP (not naming and shaming). Dropped with 5-6 guys from my Unit on Alpine, along with these two guys, probably alts. As we started telling coordinates to form up and spotted targets, they started to swore at us (like shut up and f*** you, you motherf***, d***head, and so on). We muted them both. Then one of these guys got pissed and shoot at one of our friends (he was on a Highlander, our friend in a Jenner). Well, we engaged them immediately and took them down in no-time. Of course, with 2 man less and many mechs damaged, we lose the match.
Saved a screenshot and recorded their names. If I find them again and they show the same toxic behavior, support will be contacted.
