Watch it for a few minutes after the specified mark.
Despite having very dated graphics, I think the missiles perform in much more "life"-like fashion and carry the weight behind them.
The missiles leave a concentrated trail of smoke.
Their movement is diverse and they can move all around the place, as you could see in the video.. They are not limited to vertical space as they are in MWO.
And they cause more, satisfying explosions.
When they are deployed or hit by, they give off the sense of force and damage.
Some people including me, have a problem with LRM particularly because they might obscure the vision during a continuous salvo (especially on slow mechs).
However from an external view, when they fly they look like a swarm of fire-flies, and when they hit they look a pack fire-crackers thrown at a mech.
So if the vision is going to be obscured regardless, I wish the missiles could at least look awesome...
What do you think?

This is just another stealth 'nerf LRM' post, isn't it.

For example not having all the missile fire at the exact same time. Causing them to fire in exact parallel plane with eachother. Vary the fire times by a milisecond to get some variation there

Wow! That is hard to believe.

I didn't even play MW4. I accidentally stumbled upon the video, and now talk about my opinion of how visuals of LRM compare , and if they could look better.
Don't like the topic, don't read it or reply to it.
Vent your butthurt somewhere else.

not really its not hard tech or anything. It basically looks like an LRM5 boat
Ayway this is what it used to look like in closed beta
Though that did look kinda awesome, it is still somewhat different from what I was pointing out in MW4 video.
And I really wish we just had a quality of rockets over quantity.
Stuff of this caliber:

For LRMs that would be a bit overkill (unless you mean the whole swarm of missiles should have that effect)
Would be amazing if the Arrow IV missiles look like that if we ever get those.

As you can see I don't know that much about the lore of Mechwarrior (though it is extremely interesting and fleshed out).
Actually, I remember looking up some mech on sarna and it had Arrow IV in its inventory.
I am even kinda surprised they still didn't implement those large powerful rockets into the game, even though they are part of the arsenal.
I so want to see those Arrow IV/Thunderbolt stuff

If i am not mistaken, there is also equip-able artillery pieces.

because,
someone with a low end PC that can barely run the game might start lagging and quit.
