I really want PGI to add warhorns in the vein of the old arena shooters. These would act like the announcers from games like UT or Quake with the epic "first blood" "rampage" etc. They could even have them set up so that only the person with it equipped can hear it. That way it would reduce the tears of rp'ers.

I know I would spend money for these types of warhorns. Thoughts?

I don't see how it'll make much difference. In lore, clan mechs were not well known for being covered in gold and blaring wub noises from monkey speakers anyway.

M-m-m-m-m-m-onsterkill-ill-ill-ill-ill!!!! Played tons of instagib CTF back then, I think I was in top 200 in-game rankings for a short while.

True enough but Cockpit items are an individual player choice. Sometimes a gaudy seventies horror show choice. So this feature would need to be optional and limited to the single player.

Ok fine, if I can't have my cool, crazy cockpit items. Then fine, I get it... in that case, I want giant Kaiju costumes!

There's a historical battle where a group who used their mechs to film Kaiju fights, ended up having to fight off an invasion with their mechs still dressed in their film Kaiju equipment.

If I can't have cockpit items because "Muh Lore" then I demand Lore friendly Kaiju costumes!

Obviously missed the part where i said they could set it up so only the person with it equipped can hear it. Also it would be a purchasable item like the other warhorns so nobody would be forcing you to use them.
