Have to re, re, re, re run the "repair" tool. I guess I am the tool since I keep coming back to play this buggy thing.
I expect the next fix to sell my information to North Korea.

Thank you

Ok.. here is a "shows up for event" medal. I have to honestly disagree here. I have never had a more buggy game. Everytime you patch something new and weird comes up and I have to run the 30 hour repair tool. (Ok you got me its not 30 hours.)
What if you guys fix it, and then agree to leave it alone for a month?

This means the artists can create and code the UI outside of tools like Maya and 3DSMax or CryEngine then import them into the game when complete.
Jeeze guys do I have to code to play a game? That really should tell you all something is not right. If you go to steam like this the game will be slaughtered.
Fix this and don't screw with it for a month so we can play.
No?

Can you send off a ticket to technical@mwomercs.com with a crashdump attached?
The file can be located in your C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online folder.

My mech looked like I had a Warge Maser and an SRM J among other oddities.

Same here. It will randomly crash to desktop, MWO just disappears. I went from the occasional crash when I alt+tab at loading screens to crashing at least once a match at any random time. Which is MUCH worse, because before I could semi-control it.
I've tried DX9, DX11, 32 & 64bit, all combinations. I switched from full screen to full window. I even cleared all my vid drivers AND re-installed a fresh MWO copy - and get the same crash my 2nd match. I'm going to "allow" a few more to build a new crashdump file since the old is 13mb atm, and I think that covers 4+ previous re-installs of the game.
One last thing, maybe it's related, I seem to hang on the loading screens. All my teammates seem to get into the match faster. I have a Samsung 850 Evo, so I doubt it's a HDD speed issue.

Seriously, I just chalk it up to the new "crash to desktop" module they gave us for free. It's a 6 million cbill value. We should be thankful.

If I force it to use dx11 will I see a performance increase?
My crashes are not as often as others but they happen and sometimes my in game performance is noticeably suffering at times. Issues I don't get in other games.
If it helps, Im running windows 7 64bit and running the game in 64bit
Cheers
