The invitations have been sent out and we have our teams set. You can watch the Tournament Live on Twitch/MWO_ACES and Twitch/NGNGtv. A few of the participating teams may also be broadcasting their own streams as well.

We have invited several Units. Those that are participating are:

A.C.E.S.
Comstar Irregulars
The Black Widow Company
Death's Hand Brigade
Aces Wild
War Pigs
Windbourne Highlanders
Marine Mechs

We have kept this, our first A.C.E.S. Tournament, small on purpose to test out the format and Rules. We are hopeful that, should all go well with this initial Tournament, we will be able to expand the Tournament out to be more inclusive with Open Invitations for the next one.

The Mech-stomping action starts at 8pm EST on Saturday, March 7, 2015.

I'm curious how the pick style worked out. It's something I've considered before (+ bans MOBA style), but hadn't tried yet.

I thought it was pretty great. I absolutely loved the no-duplicates restriction and the banning really gave prepared teams an advantage. Our entire team was in a group spreadsheet as I typed the bans in and were actively modifying the drop deck. We had no issues bringing the best of what was left to the field within the 10 minute restriction.

I know we have them somewhere, I'll try and work on getting them so you can see.

There were a few teams in the tournament that streamed and recorded their matches. I have been trying my best to get copies of all of them, so I will post what I have already and try to update it as more become available.

Special thanks to BanditB17 from Marine Mechs, who not only streamed his own team's matches but also stepped in to help stream the matches from a few other teams during Marine Mechs waiting period before the Final Round.
