The easiest solution... like the Founders tag hiding is to have it enabled/disabled in game for the forums (which is inelegant IMO, but whatever). I don't see that as a problem really since the user has control of whether people see it... until they actually meet in game (it shouldn't be hidden in game, just the forums).
