Dear PGI.

When you gave IS mechwarriors opportunity to bring 250 tons of steel death against clans you brought one tiny little issue also - for now IS pilots have to edit their decks all the time, when they switch from IS/Clan frontline to IS/IS and vice versa.

Is it really a problem if IS mechs would be dropped at 250 cap all the way?
What's wrong with 250 tons vs 250 tons of IS vs IS battle? Does it really different against 240 vs 240?

So, please, cap it at 250 tons for all IS frontlines, pretty please ^_^

And... I'm not native english, so sorry for my mistakes if any

Although I voted yes for this, there is one benefit of the current system: since you know you're going up against clan mechs you can select ones that fair better against them.

Well... Maybe. Yet I doubt, that mechs that are better at beating clans do it somewhere worse against IS mechs
However, benefit of evened tonnage is to have only 4 prepared and fully packed mechs for any drop opposite to 6-8 when we have different tonnage limits

Maybe I'm stupid, or bugged; but every match I've played recently has given me 250 weight, and every planet I click on tells me I can bring 250 tons.

Where are all these worlds where the differential actually works correctly?

Frankly, 10 tons doesn't amount to a hell of a lot of difference, but it does give Clan players a sticking point to claim we're just whining. "You guys all get ten tons extra and you still can't win? You just suck, that's your fault." Ten tons doesn't fix the disparity. It was a bandaid solution to make people think they worked long and hard on a fix.

Maybe it's because Rasalhague is fully surrounded by Clan worlds? Or, maybe PGI made the changes post factum yet without notice.
Can't really tell, because of all these events I haven't played CW for long time ^_^
And... 10 tons is a BIG difference. Whether, for example, you bring 2 Jagers+2 Wolverines or 3+1 -_- OR even to think of bringing K.Crab into battle with some other decent mechs. If you were given opportunity - why not to try it? What PGI intentions or motives were - the only who can tell are PGI themselves.
