I think maybe founder's mechs are not what I expected.

As was mentioned earlier, there is NO XP bonus. Just the C-bill boost.

You get a 25% C-Bill bonus. That's unique.

Forever.

Is the bonus linked to the mech only?

Yeah. So if you have the founder catapult it'd be the stock variant with missile arms and torso energy hardpoints, and you'd only get the 25% bonus when piloting that specific mech. But you could still buy/use the variant with PPC arms, it just wouldn't have the founder skin or cbill bonus.

Oh, I just noticed that the founders get early access starting july 12th.

Hell, I'd have paid $120 just for that ^_^

I am increasingly happy with my purchase. Might get my brother a founder's package for his birthday on the 5th.

Is there anyway to upgrade a founder's pack?

Yeah, an 'UPGRADE NOW' button on the founder's purchase page showed up for me saying that I can upgrade from Elite to Legendary. Maybe if I find 60 bucks in my couch cushions or something.

There is no XP boost. Lets not spread misinformation.

Sorry to ruin your fun, but the early access for founders start at August 7.

As a general practice, if you're going to spend more dollars than you have fingers, you probably want to read all the basic product information about whatever you're buying.

This goes double for anything they arrange in chart format.

Nope.

They have a paint job, a few cosmetic tweaks to the models (if we're lucky), and a C-Bill booster.

They are otherwise identical to the Prime variants, to the the point of occupying the Prime slot in whatever upgrade trees this game will require of us.

If you couldn't buy with c-bills the excact combat capability/hard point load out atlas/cpult/hunch/jenner then alot of of people (me included) would be mad cause it would be much closer to, and perceived to be, buying power with $. The devs have always said that you would basically be able to earn with c-bills all the same combat tools as you could with money. Thank god this isn't WoT

They already said you could buy Mech slots later. I don't want the Jenner or hunchie founder mech.. so I'll just buy a few extra slots and a few extra months of premium. Now later I feel certain they will sell some more CB boost mechs down the road and I'll most likely buy one so I can run the 2 CB boost mechs back to back.

I don't want any kind of Pay to win setup.

by what I understand, founders mechs are the same as the normal one, with a paint job and a c-bill boost.

No Pay to Win mechs or merchandise please. ever.

It actually was not explained that well. For one thing the Founder Page completely neglects to mention the extra Mechbay slots you get for buying a Founder Mech. Simply put, the Founder Mechs come with their own storage space and do not eat up any that you'd normally have. This means an Elite guy gets +1 permanent space over a Veteran, and Legendary gets +4. The listed "value" does not take this into account and no where in the deal is it mentioned. This is one of the reasons why Legendary is the winner. An Elite will only be able to own a max of 9 Mechs. A Veteran or normal guy will only be able to own a max of 8. Us Legendaries will be able to own up to 12 Mechs. These bonus slots are apart of the deal but not mentioned anywhere in it.
