Can we have a mute button or blacklist for in-game chat?

I know its been asked for before. And yes, 'I' can ignore the trolls in game, but many others cant and when the match goes to the wall due to the troll mouthing off, and especially if you have been in a queue for a real long time, it's really annoying.

I'm pretty sure there is a mute... Havent used it though so I dont know how to do it. Has something to do with the ingame player menu though, as far as I know.

Oh ya latest patch notes have a section on it I believe.
Actually I went and looked at the patch notes and didnt see anything, not sure where I read that then...

Edit: Misread the OP, the word "mute" threw me off. But for VOIP:

Hit tab, click on the gray speaker icon in the column marked - sensibly enough - 'MUTE'.
You'll get a red cross across the gray speaker as visual confirmation.

That's in game voice mute isn't it? Or does it mute both voice and chat?

That´s VOIP mute for -one- player.
There is no mute button for all players.

And there is no way to block IG chat.

Esc-Options-uncheck 'enable VOIP'.

Or do it in the options before you drop.

True. I misread the OP, there's no way to ignore players in chat. And there should be.

I think OP is referring to the TEXT-chat, not VoIP. Am i right ?

Anyway, regarding VoIP muting single players should really be persistent, not only per match.
Same goes for Text-Chat: we should be able to mute certain players, and the game should remember this.
