This bears a pretty strong resemblance to my actual system and I can attest to its abilities. Small differences, but if I were going to build it from scratch then I'd probably go with a list of parts like this. Also, the PSU is oversized to allow for future SLI, so don't bother questioning why I didn't choose a 550W one.

That's a huge price premium on a $1000 card. Talk about gouging.

Well this is my build that I'll be building for The Witcher 3, but it should make MWO run better than my current build.
Mobo and RAM to be cannibalized from a previous build

https://www.pccasege...tion=wish_lists

Gotta love Australian prices though, 4970k is nearly $200 more

There was only 3 with Prices, 2 Asus and a EVGA, The Asus Ones were the Same Price at Amazon, They're Cheaper at NCIX ($1115+ Tax & Shipping) but it's showing they're sold out so it defaulted to Amazon. The EVGA is Cheaper Though, $1000 @ Microcenter & NCIX (Where it's in stock), & $1063 @ Newegg. The Asus I put in got a Higher Clock Though (1.07GHz While the others are all 1GHz)

Going to need a decent monitor for a decent system. Mine is on back order. I just hope it arrives before Witcher 3.

One of Acer's new g-sync panels makes the ROG Swift a less attractive option, and I think they just released a relatively affordable 4K panel crammed into a 24" model, too. Those who are spending tons on their high-end systems will want to check out the latest releases, the ROG Swift is over a year old now, isn't it? Doesn't sound nearly boutique enough for this thread ;)
