Sarcasm aside, I'm looking at the IS home right now, & there's still around 25 planets being contested. So, I'm not sure what the issue is, here...

Great HPG Network has failed and all intersystemic communication is halted. The Inner Sphere is thrown back into a state of pre FTL. Clans take years to organize a single attack on a planet. The IS has time to analyze and copy clan tech.

This can only mean one thing, WE get lostech!!
