Mechlab visual treatment - Jaeger mech and the Cataphract get their mechlab visual pass.

Released March 17th patch.
March Road Map

Does anyone know exactly what this might be for the Jager? We already have weapons that interchange, there isn't any custom geometry that doesn't change for the weapon's you're equipping - EXCEPT for the PPC.

However that seems pretty trivial and something that could be fixed on it's own or later. The dragon would seem to be the mech that needs it the update most at the moment.

I heard that the Jager is getting new missile pods? Was this a rumor, a dream, a rewritten memory?

Edit: Oh, I notice that the missile pods don't show the correct amount of missile tubes.
So new missile tubes and PPC art. I hope that the side pods on the JM6-A are smaller for smaller missiles, and aren't just the same model with a 90% grey texture and two teeny missile tubes in it.

Missiles and Energy. So PPCs, Flamers, and any sort of missiles (or lack there of). It was a lot like the Raven which had a partial customization pass. Just going off memory from the model files, there might be less than what I thought.

Surprised to see the Jagmech getting attention tbh.

But yeah, its probably for the JM6-A with its missle pods, and just maybe the torso energy points for everything else.

It's the new centurion gun arm turned upside down, except for the A which gets the same missile pods the Catapult gets when loading multiple launchers. :P

They'll alter the geometry. Pray that they don't alter it further.

Remember what they did to the Catapult. Or the Centurion. Or the Hunchback.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I know >< I can only imagine what it'll be like with more than one missile launcher.. UUUUUUUGH. It's ganna have freakin houses on the side man.

I'm expecting worst case scenario.

Argh... I fully expect missile pods the size of moons on the Jager A. And, yes, even with SRM2's, they'll still be that big.

The ONLY mech I think they improved with the variable weapon geometry is the Atlas. It's nice to see accurate gun barrels on the right torso. But that's also about the only noticeable change.... I have very low expectations for this "improvement."

Here's hoping they modify the giant blinders on the torsos, and add an additional energy mount to reflect the extra hard points for the S and the FB.

Prepare to be disappointed. Every mech, even the atlas, has been visually hurt, not improved, by the weapon pass.

The art department makes such beautiful mechs. Then the modelers realized them in 3D so well. Thennn.... *single tear* weapon pass effs it all to hell *second tear*
