yeah just checked: sensor range, zoom distance and targeting time, waste of space.

all mechs in this game already function as if they have more advanced targeting computers than ever existed in battletech.

We don't :P We should of already had the other LBs, Ultras, and other lv 2 tech considering we already have Pulse lasers, ERLL, UAC5s, and LB10s. But I digress :P

Not all tech 2 stuff was available in 3050, a bunch of it comes out in 3055/58+

Like ERML for the IS for starters....

Will be nice when the is gets their Targeting computers, as well as the Auto cannons and LBX's. but I'm think PGI will make all these as part of the lost tech release.

I put a CC on my BLR-1D.

Totally worth it.

Combined with BAP and TAG, I have insta-lock. The increased sensor range is nice too. :)

Otherwise...yeah...pretty much useless...

You act as if PGI is strictly going by lore, here's the news... this game isn't lore based.

Time lines are off, Mechs are off, weapons are off, IS and Clan technology is off ----------- All in the name of balance.

So do go wining say this IS needs this or Clans need that.... sit up and pay attention.. this isn't the Mechwarrior game board with the game board rules... This is a new MWO based on convenient lore pickings at best.

Jup, targeting the exact parts doesn't even impair your aim like in the TT. Another /golflclap for the idea of instance convergenceEdit: Funny, right after writing this mail I felt the wrath of MWO for writing this. One alpha took the CT of my Wolverine from pristine to cherry red. My only mistake was I rounded a corner and there was another mech, smashing the key to evade the what was coming didn't help because even medium mechs do not react that fast. Cool gameplay.
