Every Million EXP in a Mech, by default, should grant 1% Cbill bonus to a max of 30%; simple, done.

If it reaches 30% it gets a Advanced Pilot indicator; maybe an (A) next to the type name.

Yea bettter idea than the other F2Pay feature ...
Both are good idea, but one is only about play when other is about pay.

Edit : 1 million XP for 1% cbill bonus is to hard... 100k - 150k should be ok

Shortly i had a nice ingame conversation with a guy in his Atlas D-DC and an awesome Phranken Camo. He said that's still his favourite mech and if he could he would spend some money so that the 30% c-bill boost would be added. I liked this idea pretty much. So, how about this option?
Prices should differ between the weight classes. I was thinking of 750MC for lights, 1250MC for medium, 1750MC for heavies and 2250MC for assaults.
Another idea would be to give your mech a completely different status, with maybe an income bonus of only 20%, so that only the real heroes have the full bonus.

Yes, I agree that you should be able to turn a regular mech into a Hero mech.. but not for cbills or MC...

but for 2.000.000 Mech XP.

That seems like the only thing worthy and logical..

You would literally have to field a mech so much that it becomes a legend.. a terror of the battlefield.. a HERO.

I like this...maybe not exactly but its a seems like a good fun system that will keep people playing a favorite mech forever just about.

Could even throw in some bones at 5mill and 10 mill EXP, like 1 and 5 mill cbills? Or maybe something silly? cockpit items, Fluff, etc.

I would say 20% but yes to this; how is it not a thing. Set price per weight class say $2.50 per weight class.

However I suppose it is for the best because I would just end up making all my mech special and handing over more money. Glad they don't want that.

Make the item that gives a C-Bill bonus for each battle a Mech module that can be installed on any Mech.

Call the Mech module a "Stock Market Ticker". This is a tribute to BattleTech: Crescent Hawk Inception , which let you make money on the stock market.

Installing it would give the player a C-Bill % bonus for each battle but at the cost of a Mech module slot.

(PGI could also make the module a reward for completing the highest rank in House Steiner.)

I've made a poll asking about different Cbill boosting options.

This is a great idea. 1 Million EXP might be a little high, but as someone else pointed out, you would have to field the 'Mech enough for it to become a feared opponent...a Hero.

While 1 Million XP is probably a bit high, maybe something along the lines of about 500,000 XP and the 'Mech must be mastered? That equates to a good amount of XP total for the 'Mech, and while 500k XP is a ton, it's not entirely unreasonable.

And since it has been mastered that means you have to have at the very least elited 3 'Mechs, showing you are skilled or determined enough to know that chassis inside and out.

Here's an idea that works with the OP. What if as you say you can earn enough experience with a mech to give it a cbill bonus. But instead of %30 just %15 and for some MC we can get an additional %15.

But in any case something like this should be done.
