For the C-bill reward rules, it is not clear if a "special mech" bonus would overrule/override the "normal mech bonus".

Let's say you did 20 qualifying matches in a "normal Light mech"... and then did 20 qualifying matches in a "special Light mech".. would the ones w/o the bonus be overridden?

Nope - your best bet is to use a hero as much as possible this weekend to earn as much as possible.

For Pub matches
20 opportunities in each weight class
once you use them up they are done.

When we had the double XP weekend, I saw a lot of people complaining on the forums that the double XP was fairly worthless, as most people had a far greater need for C-bills. Personally, I didn't voice my opinion in that thread because so many had voiced it before me and I had nothing new to add.

If this weekend's challenge is a result of the feedback from that forum thread, then I want to thank the folks at PGI. It's nice to know the community is being listened to!

When only a very tiny % of the player base are interested in playing CW

Seems to be a problem with matches counting. None of the matches I played in my Direwolf (G) counted between 22.05 and 23.55 GMT. I then swirched to a light to test and that registered no problem.

I'll bet they forgot to include the Gold Mechs in the list of "special" Mechs.

Which would be kind of ironic, given Mechs don't come any more Special than Gold.

I guess its only counts if you hit 30 match score and win the match. If you lose, you dont get the c-bills bonus..

Well it counted the first few then stopped....

Just ran a test match with the Gargoyle (I) and they appeared... all in a messed up order but...

This is a nice event. I don't care about C-Bills so I just keep playing as normal, chasing those daily doubles. Just get some nice C-Bill bonus. It doesn't affect other people's playstyle negatively either.

It's nearly impossible to get less than 30 points so, I'm getting 150k extra for every match except my assault class that I don't have a hero or reward mech (only have a victors). Pretty easy event to me, I like it! I'm basically earning back my money from the module event and making them free, good deal. My Arrow and Jenner-D(S) have been raking in the loot with ease.

INCORRECT!!!

CW IS the game, public pugs is boring as hell unless there is a challenge or event going on.

During the week I dont even log on unless I know the boys are gearing up for CW.

Incorrect. Win, lose, or draw, if you get over 30 match points, it counts. Wait 15 minutes for the game to show up on the tournaments page.

You should honestly change that policy for the next run. It should be "most qualified matches with special/hero mechs followed by normal mechs". That way, if someone buys a hero mech later into the event, they would be rewarded by overwriting the existing matches.

That's how nice things should work.... in theory.

well I dusted off my old FS9-E, after playing the A fr a while the E seems more powerful than efer, most games I am pulling 500+ damage, so ether Matchmaker likes me today or I am suddenly far better than I ised to be.

I am seeing match earnings of roughly double what I would usualy expect, it says cbills will be added at the end of the event, so does this mean my above average rounds have bumped my earnings in an FS9-E above my average for the Timber Wolf (despite the fact I do about that well in a TBR as far as kills assists and damage go) or was it just CW which is getting added on Tuesday?
