Kurita stole Grumium you twit...or can you read the faction screen you complain about?

That would mean that Kurita took it after the ceasefire, only to lose it to Wolf then correct?

If PGI took the planet then it's because they're planning some sort of special event which is likely to take place in former FRR territory. They claimed Tukayyid after fall.

Lore wise it wouldn't be unheard of for FRR insurgents to strike behind enemy lines on planets the Clanners thought secured.

Considering all the times when the Trollgorithm has slowed down our advance, negating us attack lanes for more than a WEEK at times, well, it could have been worse.. <_<

Its alright we lost a couple of planets to PGI flip, as they dont want islands, cycle into a new attack phase... oh look island attack option... seriously wtf

pgi activly removed a steiner and a frr fortress out of the invaders way.
in case of grumium they removed a whole faction out of the invasioncorridor.
there, in the rasalhaguepocket, they have no longer a influence on the advance of the clans to terra.

It is to my understanding that this happened because of the algorithm™.

Rather than trying to fix/improve it, the islands "had to be rid of" to help it out.

What has happened (as I'm told) is that a planet was traded from Wolf to FRR as a result (the other planet being near FRR territory).

Whether you agree with this decision or not is one thing... but you got a net trade of 0 loss/gain but with different positioning as far as the map is concerned..

I'm not saying this is good or bad, but it's mostly a lateral move, and at some point, I suspect FRR would have lost that one planet in the middle of current Wolf space at some point. Better to consolidate at this point.

It hates us too, we are now only allowed to defend on CW for this cycle, I think PGI broke something.

With the Fall of fortress Grumium to PGI forces masquerading as DCMS, the clans long stalled advance against Terra and the Southern houses can continue. The day before this PGI also did the same thing with Steiner's fortress world that neighbored Grumium.
PGI forces promptly turned control of Fortress Grumium over to clan Wolf, who had long been stalled by this major impediment in their advance against the South. The Steiner fortress world went to CJF, blocking Wolf access to Steiner space.

The FRR is reduced to an Island recently carved out of clan occupied space around the capitol world of Rasalhague.
The FRR has been removed from the path of the clans advance and placed in the center of the clan occupied zone.

The Clans with PGI's help may have swallowed the FRR for now, but they and PGI left us alive to gnaw our way out of your guts.

p.s. Dear PGI, when the FRR cuts one of the Clan territories into islands, will we get the southern island worlds as a prize also?

Even though I understand PGI wanting to avoid islands, Grumium was the LAST planet of retreating FRR forces. By last planet I exclude the capital and surrounding planets, which is an oddity and very non realistic. Grumium wasn't an island it was the last stand of battered FRR forces after being pushed back over months. PGI took away the last stand of FRR forces, denied us a good death, denied those FRR pilots their place in Valhalla. its the same as executing a Klingon rather than letting them fight to the death and die a good death.

If wolf was allowed to attack it and took Grumium, we could say "ok wolf, gg, you beat us" or maybe FRR could of pushed back the invading forces, but FRR and wolf don't have that satisfaction. the point is it wasn't an island.

Attack paths messed up? Fine, fix the islands, but DON'T FREAKING TAKE THE LAST STAND OF BATTERED FORCES

Damn right, that´s what I am saying.

It is odd, admittedly, but the clanner tears Mojitos are delicious.

I guess it was inconvenient for the storyline how all the clans combined fronts failed to crack the FRR nut, we can at least pride ourself on the moral victory. Skål brothers!

FRREE!! (as in mead)
