I Hope it takes some GameTime to get enough for upgrades.

I will be big time mad if a New Player can join and in a few days or a week be running around with all the best stuff MWO has to offer.

I realy hope that the Legendary Founders packs have some Good hidden Value.

Legendary vs Elite

Just remember buying..... 3 more MEK's im game will cost you.....Time/ in game money/cbills..

1) Time...it might take you several months of play to get enough to buy a New mek Hanger Slot..then the Mek..then.....
2) Money....alot of in game money to get Slots/ hanger space and then Cbills to buy the MEK ???

Im hope'n this game makes players work for upgrades so not every new player can be running around w/ the best stuff (as in many MEKS) in a matter of Days/week of logging on for the first time

Considering that the devs are trying to create a level playing field so that every mech is useful on the battlefield it would stand to reason that a new player could very quickly have one mech kitted out and be just as effective as a 12month veteran on the field, the only difference being your actual playing skill

I'm sure the dev's will do their best to find a happy medium where you as a paying customer don't feel somehow cheated and new people or people who haven't spent any money on the game don't feel like the grind to get new toys is just to dang long.

Honestly I would not be surprised if a new player could have an Atlas within a couple days, and that doesn't really bother me

Exactly. There will be a balance where new players can play, have fun and advance and the old hats wont feel like they've wasted time or money on a game.
