Conversely the average bad is why the 9S was cut down in its prime and why people argue that it's okay that the resistance mechs are garbage because they'll just be toned up later despite the incoming wave 3 pack, which seems to be making up for how bad most of clan wave 2 was by bringing 3 of the most incredible looking mechs yet (and possibly a 4th, but the jury's still out on the Executioner)

Let's not pretend the Mad Cat, Loki, Ryoken, Thunderwub, and Stalker aren't leagues above everything else right now, and let's not pretend that we'll ever reach a point where there won't be any "top tiers" because that's just how balance works. At the same time though let's not ignore mechs that have potential but are complete garbage because of crippling flaws when they could be changed slightly to add a lot to the game.

I dont give a flying F*** about the weapon quirks. The bonus strcuture and armor is all I need. My Ice Ferret will be even more powerful now! and for that I am very greatful.

Why are all the clan guys in here pissed? You thought your already far ahead Tech mechs recieve Quirks like our 3025 low Tech Mechs?

PGI may have overquirked some Mechs at some Point (TDR9S), but for IS Pilots its still a hard game to compede against another organised Team of Clan Players. And im not talking about those "Lets play CW and take our Trial Mechs or load as many LRMs as possible" Teams. Im talking about those skilled Teams like EmP, BSMC, RCW, RJF and those who are giving the IS a hard time with good balanced Drop Decks and Mechbuilds that are a serious Pain in the ass..

We will see how much influence those changes will have towards the Dropdecks of the competitive Players....

So is the Adder, why doesn't it get panther quirks to at least make it on garbage par :P

Switch to clan mechs and then drop against lets say Kurita since they seem to have the best offensive teams, don't just rate it based upon your experience for ONE side, at least play both.

why did you leave out the rest of that data?

like where he said tht the clans had on average a 100 higher Elo than the IS during that test..and that translates into an expected 64% win rate

Anyone who's complaining about the %'s definitely did not bother actually plugging into the clan tech basic values. Or compared them to similar IS values.
The quirks are not nothing. Will they make people pick these mechs over the comparibly better other clan mechs? no because they can boat the meta better. That's it.

But if you're complaining about the clan quirks you should be complaining about the IS quirks a lot more as most IS are still not worth using outside of solo queue

YTF did summoners not get extra leg structure? They take LRMs to the legs like a missle magnet. Not to mention having 5JJs means some fall damage WILL occur...

For anybody in this thread crying that Clan mechs are not competitive because these quirks are bad, you're wrong. You still have your top tiers, just like how the IS still has ours. You can stop crying about IS quirks because your Mad Cats and Ryokens will never stop being good.

The problem with this quirk pass is that it failed to deliver on what people were hoping for - to make bad clan mechs decent.

You know, and I know, that clan mechs are good. Whether or not win rate back this up, fact remain that Timber Wolf and Storm Crow are best mech in game. Not asking for nerf to Timber Wolf, or Storm Crow, and in fact, think Adder and Gargoyle need help.

In fact, think clan quirks announce today are sick joke. 4% machine gun range? Who come up with this? Insulting to all. Understand why clan player upset that many mech still crap. Just like hope clanner understand that many IS mech still crap, and Resistance pack mechs are D O A.

But please join in point and laugh at clanner who claim deck stacked against him because IS have +10 ton drop deck.

Dont hear on one mention the clanner weapons are already op. The range on them is far more supiorer then IS are. So stop whinning clanners and you IS drivers that drive them too.The only thing you have too complain about is the amount of chooses you have for any given weight class.The IS still have too kill 2 of you torses with XL as opposed too our one. There is always going too be players who cry and now that the IS has a little chance of beating clanners [and the IS fights harder for it ] you tink your being cheated and it is because we have become better pilots.

I play the Adder to its strengths and don't get that close, so my legs rarely take the brunt of combat. Plus hillside cover is a great thing.

Structure quirks on the body would be nice. I rarely lose my arms either. Though I understand structure / armor quirks on the King Crab's arms because the fastest way to get rid of its heavy ballistic firepower is just to take out the arms. Same with a dire wolf (though buffing the arms on it would make the Dire Wolf a bit too hard to deal with).

Nothing. For competetive and not. This is nothing.
Competetive players from sphere have more bonuses than from clans. But there are more competetive units, playing for clans than for IS and because of this spheroids crying that clans still op. Nothing changed, if clan-units switched to sphere and continue rekted these crying babies.
