Energy weapon cooldown +15%

does that mean they need longer to refire or shorter...

You reload faster.

Yeah, it's counterintuitive.

On these robots, all quirks will be positive.

Smaller and more iterative.

GOOD.

If they actually do iterate on it often (like once each month or two months) then that would be kewl.

But if there's still huge time gaps between each iteration, then we wouldn't have really gained much in the end...

Remember the Clan omnipod amounts are low because players can stack with other pods

really Russ? come on man, they are absolutely lol quirks, and are going to do nothing what so ever to make the Summoner or the Gargoyle used anymore then they are now.

But dude, you get to stack the Adder arm and side torsos to get an entire -4% laser duration.

DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW HUGE THAT WILL BE, BRO?

people need to stop complaining. its the first step to introduce clan quirks and PGI will go from there.

its completely unnecessary to go crazy now because of *only2%* quirks.

also i feel that the highlander could need a engine cap of 350.

Lame. These Clan quirks are a slap in the face.

1% + 1% + 2% is MASSIVE! I don't even know how I will decide if I want to take a -4% laser duration OR +4% cooldown. I mean...that's a tough decision and completely alters my build and viability. fffsssss... I think I'll buy an extra adder so I can decide which one 4% quirk does better after playing each 30 times to baseline!! EDIT: On second thought, it's a bit OP to stack those, so I'll probably take -2% laser duration and +2% cooldown. I don't want them to get nerfed after a few months.

wow, those clan quirks are pretty redundant, 1% range is what? 1-2m?

i am also really disappointed in the catapult quirks, i really hope the jester gets JJ quirks, it used to be so fun to play..

uhh are the clan quirks typos? 1 and 2%'s really? and no change in movement type for GAR from huge to large?

well i am no longer excited clan quirks in any way shape or form, i mean those lbx bonus's alone should cause a massive increase in the use of the Summoners and Gargoyles right? guess if PGI keeps on its course of least used clan mechs for quirks these 4 will be up again for a requirking.

PGI has to be careful with quirks, even with mechs that are considered somewhat underdog or starved of podspace/hardpoints. The Gargoyle has some capable laser vomit builds(especially with the bonus variant). Proton and Writhen are driving the 6ERML, 6ERSL, 27DHS "Mangoyle" and doing amazing against the general group queue.

I like where this is going, but...

good thing this was obviously a customized missile behavior pass that impacts the jester and k2 greatly.

I don't even think those Clan weapon quirks were worth the time it took to put them in the spreadsheet.

We see the first generic missile velocity quirks here, too.

That puts some 'Mechs up to LRM accuracy on par with the previous nerf: in fact, ones like the Trebuchet-5N are as good and even infinitesimally better, as a 10% velocity boost puts them up to 176 (prior to the nerf, LRMs were 175, now 160).

LRM velocity is the Holy Grail of all possible quirks to get (with cooldown equal), so the Trebuchet just got on some really good steroids.

Except when it comes to bestowing quirks on IS mechs.

Gargoyle got 26 extra health in each arm for the prime? That seems pretty nice.

So, the Adder has cooldown quirks for ER PPC. VERY USEFUL on a mech with a heat efficiency < 1. Now I can overheat even faster!

Excellent work PGI.

IMO, instead of huge swinging changes they implement little tweaks. This is the way to do it. Not overdone blunders!

Keep it up!
