Both videos are equal tonnage match ups.

And it's not like on any of the other preview videos have we seen anything but wins for the featured mech. They are sales videos after all.

Yeah odd choice of mech to show off the Zeus, its not like Gargoyles are much of a challenge for even heavies..

The loadouts must be stock?

Kit out a modified Zues with srm's and pit it up against a Direwhale in close range....

Edit: Anyone else's OCD going to get the better of them with that annoying antenna in the cockpit of the Grasshopper? Zoom in and its all you can see bouncing on your screen like an annoying fly....

Please when you do these sneak peaks, just do a mirror match. when you do them against another mech and the other mech loses on purpose, it just makes it seem like you are lying to our faces.

I can work with these, now we just need an XPx2 weekend event but it looks more like shamrock surprise.

Disappointed in the Grasshoppers head as it really looks nothing like the concept art, but what ever I am here to kill not win a fashion contest.

I'm disappointed. After the Panther video, Lang said he'd consider pitting the showcased mech against something competitive; but I guess it was not meant to be.

The Grasshopper and Zeus look pretty bad almost losing to a Summoner and Gargoyle a few times. That's gotta be discouraging for anyone who preordered.

why? He almost lost in the PNT and ENF too, and the ENF is a bad bad mech! (in the good way!) and I love my 10k, too.

Not the Zeus-Hopper's fault that Sean and Cattra need remedial mech piloting lessons!

I guess because it's hard to make a purchasing decision on a video where the demonstrator is fighting cardboard cutouts.

If, for example, the Panther video had shown a fight against a Firestarter, that would have been a pretty good metric to judge the Panther's effectiveness by; and honest, too, since more than half the lights I see these days are Firestarters. Instead, we got the Adder, a mech that was all but extinct before the weekend giveaway, and is surprisingly rare still given how many free ones were distributed.

I'm not going to comment on the piloting skill beyond to say that at least it seems representative of what I see in the solo queue a lot.

The poor Summoner build and (intentionally) poor firing/shielding ethos of the opfor only shows up tragic this looks to people that have a clue about the game.

The Grasshopper may as well be good, but faking a competent match is so embarrassing here.

They seriously made the damn hopper so big that it got the huge movement type. This is laugh out loud stuff.
